Great location! Quiet area yet within 10 minutes from good food and attractions. We enjoyed our stay. The house is very cozy and has a homey atmosphere.
Everything was clean and ready when we got there, the cabin was perfect for two and the location was great. So much to do in the area and at the cabin. Will come again!!:)
Our place was cozy, peaceful and quiet. It was slightly farther away from Hocking Hills than we thought, but overall it didn’t change our experience and we were very happy with our stay.
Very nice and peaceful two day trip. Patio with jacuzzi, grill and rocking chairs made the evenings very enjoyable
Television and wi fi provided excellent reception. The sofa with leg extensions very comfortable.
Easy entrance and exit.
Will stay again!
Thank you for a nice relaxing short trip! The cabin was great as well as the grounds. The pond and walking trails were a hit with our son. We spent two nights and had a lovely time. The only little bummer was that the hot tub was more of luke warm tub. Overall, great time!
My trip here was great everything advertised and more everything worked properly and this place unlike many provided an ample amount of towels trash bags and paper towels one thing i enjoyed that i do not think was advertised was the trail running through the outskirts of the property i will probably be renting this property or one of the adjacent properties on my next trip to hocking hills
The cabin was exactly as pictured on VRBO. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The area was quiet, the view of the lake was nice. The only little hiccup were the bugs that live on the front of the cabin. They were all over us when we got there. Once inside we had a good time. If they can figure that out and replace the screen door on the back door it would really improve the cabin.
location was great- very quiet and remote. the only thing that bothered us were that there were bees and wasps everywhere- they would get inside and there were nests outside the doors we had to deal with every day. this was pretty bothersome and i hope gets taken care of, but otherwise the lodge itself was well taken care of and very cute!
The cabin was very much as advertised. It was secluded, but not so much that it was too far to drive to get things that we needed or wanted or attractions. The host was very responsive. The pond behind the cabin is actually much larger than it looks in the pictures. It was just my 15-year-old son and I that stayed and that was an adequate size cabin for that. The only negatives I would say is the mattress was very uncomfortable and in the living area above the TV there is a substantial amount of dust bunnies on the walls. We only stayed two nights so neither one of those is really a huge concern, but a more comfortable bed would’ve been nice. I’ve already recommended to a friend that’s looking for a cabin that this is a nice place to stay.
I use VRBO regularly and I felt this listing was a bit overpriced. After all the charges I ended up paying $606 and this cabin definitely was not a $300 a night cabin. The location was great. It was private although there was another cabin next door. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working but the manager took care of it immediately the next day and gave us a discount. We did not find linens for the futon, which we didn't use because we brought out own air mattress. Overall it was a nice location in Hocking Hills.
My husband, our dog, and I enjoyed a long weekend in the Buckeye Loft Cabin. We liked the location as it was off the beaten path, quiet, and relaxing. The walking trail behind the cabin was a nice addition to walk with our dog. The back porch/deck area was a great place to sit in the evenings or enjoy the clean well taken care of hot tub. The cabin is smaller than the pictures show but is easily accessed and wasn’t a hindrance for my husband and I. The bed upstairs in the loft area was not the best, but was okay for the three days we stayed. The shower within the bathroom is very small and could use some work but again was fine for my husband and I for the few days we stayed. Overall we enjoyed our visit and stay at the Buckeye Loft Cabin it had everything we needed for our stay, was private and quiet which we enjoyed, easy to find, and still close to the touristy attractions and local parks.
The cabin was overall very clean and cozy. Some maintenance would be nice, specifically addressing the bed in the loft space would be perfect. Unfortunately there is a divot in the bed (you can look under the bed and see where the mattress sinks) that makes it very hard for two adults to share the bed as we kept rolling into the middle and on top of each other. The solution we had was to have him sleep on the couch and I slept on the bed.... but it would be nice to sleep WITH my partner on vacation. Hot tub was amazing. Checking in and out was a breeze and we were thrilled with the location of the cabin, it was out of the way but close to all the hikes we wanted. The nature around it was beautiful. Overall would stay again.

Air conditioning not running
The cabin was nice except for a few things. The air conditioning was not on or available which for me is pretty important because i have asthma and it was hot at night which makes it flare up. The TV didnt work which was no big deal we brought a radio to play. There were no curtains except for in the kitchen and bathroom which made it feel very exposed, especially at night. The back porch was nice, the view of the pond was really relaxing. The kitchen counters are falling apart so we had to be careful not to lean on them. The price was good and the location was excellent, the cabin just needs some maintenance.
