2 Bedroom Cabin - Sleeps 5

This well appointed cabin is warm and inviting. It is across the road from the Rio Ruidoso river, so a short walk will have you dipping your toes in the cool water or trying your luck at catching dinner. The living area is comfortable and features a beautiful wood burning fireplace, a large flat screen TV. Yes, we have all the popular sports and news channels and our high speed internet will keep you connected to the outside world. The cooks kitchen is a delight and the gas grill on the front deck is convenient for the chef. Sit on your deck in the morning and enjoy a quiet coffee and watch deer and other wildlife wander by, maybe even the occasional Elk or Black Bear. The open air hot tub is a real treat, especially after a day of golf, skiing, fishing or any of the other very popular activities we are known for. Located a couple of miles up the Upper Canyon, River Bend is only a short drive to all of Ruidosos attractions including shopping, dining, horse racing, gambling and so much more. An administration fee of $35 will be charged to all cancellations 14 days or more in advance, unless a reschedule has been agreed upon. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in will be charged a 1 night fee including taxes and are subject to all other nights the Cabin or Room is not re-rented. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged in full. Sorry, no refund for early departure. Great cabin near river

Loved our stay with my wife and kids! Cozy cabin in a great location in the upper canyon. Very clean with a nice view of the river too. We even had a herd of wild horses walk by one morning. Fire table on the deck was awesome for sitting around at night listening to the river. Responsive host, our propane tank ran out, but they replaced it quickly. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Disappointing

The property was not what we expected. The communication on check-in was poor. We had no direction on who or how to check in. The balcony was dirty and overlooking a street. There was no outdoor furniture to sit on except for 2 metal benches that were very uncomfortable. There was no place to walk, except on the street. The area is packed with rental cabins. The home was not well appointed. They have a dishwasher but no detergent thus we found dirty dishes put away on the shelf from other guests presumably. The area around the hot tub was overgrown with weeds and just not pleasant. The ceiling fans were so low that anyone over 6’3” would have to be careful not to cut their head. The kitchen is not supplied with any cleaning supplies, trash liners etc. There was a small bottle of liquid dish soap however but apparently other guests chose not to hand wash the dishes. There was a pile a trash behind the home up the slope in the forest. And so on… We left at 6:00 the next morning as we could not stand it any longer. We paid for two nights. 😕
