Fantastic. Loved being on a big pet friendly farm with lots of property to explore. Lovely gracious host introduced us to the horses. Special time for the kids.
Had a great stay for a weekend trip. The property is beautiful ... rolling hills, a stream. The house was very comfortable. Our grandchildren were with us, ages 5 and 8, and they loved the horses. And, feeding them apples and carrots. We would definitely stay at the property again.
Well maintained, like new guest house. Beautiful property with horses, on old barn, fishing stream. Only 10 minutes from Musket Ridge and Maryland National golf courses. My sons and I had a perfect long weekend.

Thank you for staying with us. Glad you enjoyed the close proximity of the golf courses.
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old and it was wonderful! The property is very serene, the horses are beautiful and friendly, and the owners were great. We asked if we could start a fire and not only did they bring us wood, but they started it for us! I recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts could not be more accommodating.
We were greeted upon arrival, personally shown where the Creekside campfire was located, checked on while we were there to see if we needed anything, brought fishing poles/extra supplies, and extra toilet paper and paper towels, “just in case.” The hosts were also very flexible with check in and check out and made the whole process completely painless.
If you’re thinking about staying here, I highly recommend it! You will be very happy with your stay!
We only stayed one night at this point and cozy home but we were so glad that we did. We were visiting Frederick and decided we did not want to stay right in the town and found this little gem not far away. The home is lovely, comfortable, and the property it sits on is gorgeous. There were beautiful horses to look at and greet. The owners were great at communicating and even came to help us get our fire started. I would love to stay here again.
I celebrated my wedding at this beautiful property this past weekend. My family and I stayed for 3 days and so more friends joined on the wedding day. We all loved the place. Dawn is a great and very accommodating host. She is great overall but just to highlight a few things I would say we loved how smooth communication was and her charming personality. I’d say this is the perfect place if you want to relax or throw a small event as well. It has a lot of open spaces and a small river as well. Great experience, highly recommend ;)
Thank you Dawn!!!! My husband and I loved it.
We had the best stay at Dawn’s rental. She is wonderful to work with. Our daughter was getting married in the area. We used the house and yard for the rehearsal dinner. It was beautiful and functional and had a great flow for a small party. Everyone kept asking how we found such a beautiful venue. The next day our daughter used the “sunflower “ loft to get ready/hair/makeup with her friends. The natural light was great up there. There’s so much to do on the property (hikes, horses, fire pit) I just wish we had more time there. Every morning we would have our coffee on the porch looking out at the peaceful farm. The house was spacious feeling for the five of us who stayed there. We loved the horses coming over in the evening.Dawn made our experience so easy I really want to mention what a help that was. She returned phone calls promptly and tried to make our experience as smooth as possible. Highly recommend!
Excellent place to stay. Quiet secluded, and SAFE. Will want to stay next year for sure

Why they chose this property
Our farm is 203 acres of beautiful fields, woods and creek. The house is fully and newly refurbished. Everything in this house is new. Extra clean and beautiful. You may fish in the 3/4 mile creek that runs around the farm. Plenty of wildlife to watch. We have horses on the farm, and you may bring your own horses for trail riding. Lots to explore. Medal detecting is also fun to do on the farm. The property dates back to the late 1800's.
