Fantastic hosts and location!

Villa has stunning views, clean and is close to town. Hosts were extremely accommodating, they went above and beyond for us. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful home and experience!

Paola was wonderful to work with. She answered all of our questions and even came to help my family with their bags upon check in. Her home has a magnificent view and patio. There are plenty of beds and space to stay with a large group.

The perfect oasis

Paola & John are amazing!! They are the sweetest couple, who are very responsive and attentive. They helped with any coordination needs and even reached out to ensure that we were being cared for with non-home-related things. And their home is absolutely stunning with the most breath taking view! We all wished we didn't have to leave. I hope I am able to stay here again sometime soon!

Breathtaking Italian Experience

Beautiful home with breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful places in the world! Furniture and decor can be described as very quaint, which brings you back in time to experience the history of the Almafi coast. Paola and John couldn't have been more helpful. Out of all the wonderful sights within walking distance, our best moments were having early-morning coffee on the balcony. A wonderful old-world experience.

Exceptionnel !

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cette villa du 9 au 16 août 2019. Nous étions six dont deux ados et un enfant. La villa est conforme à la description et présente un bon état général, mais l'attrait principal est le panorama époustouflant des trois terrasses de la maison aux trois niveaux : chambres, séjour et jardin ! L'accueil des propriétaires est exceptionnel ! Gentillesse, discrétion, amabilité, tout y est ! Jusqu'au magnifique plat de pâtes maison le soir de notre arrivée et le petit déjeuner du lendemain. Le garage est un véritable avantage. En effet, vous constaterez que les accès routiers et la circulation sur la côte Amalfitaine sont vraiment des plus difficiles. Nous y avons laissé un rétroviseur et quelques belles frayeurs... Le parking des véhicules est sur toute la côte prohibitif (entre 2 et 8 euros de l'heure lorsque les parkings ne sont pas pleins...). Dans ces conditions avoir un garage à disposition est un véritable luxe ! D'un point de vue plus général, nous conseillons cette destination pour le soleil, la méditerranée, le paysage fantastique et rarement égalé en Europe sauf peut être en Corse, l'Italie gourmande ( à noter que le rapport qualité/prix des restaurants est sans doute plus attractif qu'en France sur un site touristique équivalent en terme de fréquentation), l'artisanat d'art en céramique et le citron sous toute ses formes, de la glace au savon en passant par le limoncello... En résumé, l'une de nos plus belles destinations de voyage ! Nous vous recommandons la situation de cette location sur la côte et la ville de Ravello qui mérite que l'on y séjourne. Vous n'hésiterez pas à louer un bateau en famille à Maiori pour la journée (180 euros) que vous pourrez conduire sans permis jusqu'à 40 cv et qui vous permettra de découvrir des sites prodigieux, des criques accessibles uniquement de la mer, des grottes aux coraux affleurants ! (ne surtout pas oublier masques et tubas !). Un dernier petit mot pour vous dire, chers compatriotes, que vous serez toujours bien accueillis en Italie. Nous avons toujours été chaleureusement reçus dans tous les établissements fréquentés et la barrière des langues est facilement contournable grâce au "franglais" ou à "l'italiano-francais"... Un très grand merci à Paola et John, les propriétaires de la villa, qui nous ont permis de passer des vacances inoubliables. Emmanuel, Charlotte, Louis, Bertille, Romane et Grégoire PORCQ. Amazing Views

Our stay at the Villa was very pleasant. John and Paola could not have been any more hospitable. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We had plenty of room for all our family and guests. The Villa was very well supplied with all amenities. The only obstacle we found was with was the window shutters. All rooms have stunning views, but we were forced to keep the shutters closed due to the mosquitos (we do not like mosquitos!). It would have been nice to have screens on the windows and doors so that we could have enjoyed the views more with the shutters open. The shutters also limited the air flow into the house. John and Paola were very helpful with directions, how the buses and shuttles worked, and the best places to eat, shop, etc. Paola is very knowledgeable about the area. Ravello is a wonderful town, but keep in mind that it is remote and traveling around the area from there does take some time and effort. This is a perfect Villa for relaxing and enjoying the views.

Lovely home and location -- perfect for anyone who likes to walk and be close to town.

Great hosts, clean, comfortable and sizable home in a quiet location but close to town. Ideal for walkers and hikers. We stayed with 8 adults and 2 young children and had a great time. They even supplied a pack and play! The view and outside seating areas are amazing. We would definitely stay here again. It's a 10 min walk up to town center and a 25 min walk down to minori. We highly recommend it!

Spectacular ocean views

We stayed at this property in September with four adults and two teenagers. The home has breathtaking views from the many terraces facing the ocean. The bedrooms are all on the top floor and they share one bathroom. There are 2 bathrooms on the main floor near the kitchen and living areas. I appreciated the washing machine since we tend to have laundry to do while on vacation. The home also offers Wi-Fi which worked well. There was also parking for one car in the owner's garage but we actually chose to park on the street which was safe and more convenient. There are stairs to the home from the street parking or the parking in the garage. Not too many stairs but enough to be mentioned in case you decide to pack heavy luggage. We enjoyed taking the stairs into the town of Ravello. The town center is very small and quaint with cafés to enjoy a coffee or beer/wine and people watch. Lots of cute stores to shop in and many local items for sale. We also walked to Minori and Amalfi this included many stairs but was a highlight to me during the one week vacation in Ravello. If you walk to Minori you can rent beach lounge chaises and enjoy the water. The walk to Amalfi was long but well worth the stairs to see areas you would never enjoy by car/bus. We took a ferry from Amalfi to Positano and had a great day. You can also make it to Sorrento by ferry from Amalfi. Driving in this area is crazy but the views and coastal towns are worth the stress. The owners answered my many email questions and were very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. On the first night they even made us a yummy frittata to enjoy which I appreciated because I was too tired to cook anything that evening. This home was spacious enough for all six people and I would highly recommend it for a memorable vacation in a beautiful area. Thank you John and Paola for a great stay in your family home.

Beautiful view

Lovely and welcoming hosts - they waited for us at thw house with home made pasta nad wine. They were very helpful and offered a lot of tips around the area. House has 3 tarasses with astunning view over the sea and mountains. Amazing spots to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or have a breakfast. House is spacious but seems a bit worn-out especially on the bed side - old and totally soft or hard beds doesn't offer a decent sleep. Overall a good experience.

Special Place to Stay

My husband and I loved our stay in the villa. The views are spectacular from all three levels. The bedrooms are on the top floor with one bath. Three of the five bedrooms have a balcony overlooking the sea..very nice! The second floor has a large and comfortable living room and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and two baths. The main deck is also on this level with a dining table (you will never want to eat anywhere else) and a relaxing sitting area. The bottom floor has the laundry, exercise area and lots of outside space. The covered deck is perfect for escaping the sun and the other patio areas are lovely. Paola and John were generous and accommodating, the perfect hosts. Paola's pasta dinner with fresh ingredients from her garden was delightful. They also helped arrange for a rental boat and gave us great recommendations on hiking in the area. The center of Ravello with shops and restaurants is within walking distance up steps directly across from the villa. We had some friends stop by for a few days and it was difficult to get them to leave. The villa is just perfect and we would highly recommend it.

Absolutely Stunning! Perfect for our family break

We came to Ravello to attend a family wedding! Paola and Johns Villa was perfect for us! We were 8 adults (from 20 years old to 80 years young!). Paola had arranged shopping for us AND the MOST amazing Pasta dinner! Enjoyed by all! They really went out of their way to help us, from finding a dry cleaners to booking taxis for us into the village. The sleeping arrangements were perfect, the kitchen had all the amenities you could want, and no one was left without a seat! We even had some of the wedding party down for drinks and it still wasn't a squeeze! Love, love, loved it!!!

Breathtaking view, convenient property!

We were three families with three kids (nine people) that stayed ten nights and every morning were amazed again and again how beautiful the spectacular view from the villa balcony over the Amalfi coast can be. The property was very convenient and spacious allowing us to get lost on three levels of the villa. We didn't have any problem with parking. The location is perfect you can reach the center of Ravello just in five minutes (only few hundreds of steps up:) . The owners - Paola & John - are extremely nice and helpful people. We were greatly pleased with the pasta that Paola greeted us upon arrival. Thank you! Wonderful vacation!

A Beautiful and Spacious Property!

The Villa Ravello Grecamore lived up to its description and beyond. The views were spectacular of the sea and the towns below! The villa was clean and well maintained. The owners; Paola & John; were very gracious and accommodating! They were willing to help with any of our questions and needs!! It was a 15 minute walk to the center of town. The town of Ravello was beautiful; with many good shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend this Villa to anybody staying in this area! We had a wonderful week there!😀 The DiZinno Famiglia

Superb Property with even better views!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Paola & John, we arrived late at night and the entire party felt tired and fed up, however after being greeted with such warmth we all soon felt much better. We were even treated to a homemade pasta dish which was amazing! The next morning we woke up to discover the wonderful sea views, this villa really is something special. We had 9 adults in our party but found the villa very spacious. Ravello is just a 10 minute walk from the villa, but is very hilly. We didn't mind this, after eating all the beautiful Italian food the steps up to Ravello were quite welcoming. Would definitely stay here again :)
