Spent a great week here with our kids & grandkids. Super clean & spacious cottage. Huge yard for family fun games. Grandkids loved swimming, fishing & hunting for turtles. Host was very helpful & great to work with. Definitely would return here again.

Enjoyed our vacation with the kids and grandkids on Long Lake. House was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks, pedal boat, hammocks, yard games and the large yard and deck. Host was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Christmas celebration

Very comfortable and relaxing. This house has everything that you would need to enjoy while staying at this home. Can only imagine how wonderful this place is during the summertime.

Great lake house

We had a very nice stay at the Irish Retreat. The house was warm and cozy for our stay in December. We were welcomed by Christmas decorations including a Christmas tree. What a great touch for our stay near family for the holiday. We had great communication from the owner and every thing was perfect. Thank you Todd for being a spectacular host. We would recommend to anyone and would definitely consider staying again.

Peaceful, zen-like perfection!

This property and host was exactly what you might imagine from the photos. My best friend and 6 days here to relax and destress from life’s curves. The peaceful waterfront provided ample views and a natural backdrop to help us unwind. The super clean, homey decor allowed us to relax and enjoy. And if there was a question, the host was on it! Definitely a returnable location. Thank you Irishman’s Retreat for allowing us to experience your little slice of heaven! 🍀🍀

Hands down the best stay at any vacation rental we have been to!

To start, the communication with the owner was clear, timely, and friendly. They proactively reached out with information to ensure it was the best stay possible and called back within minutes when we did have a few questions. They were flexible and we were able to come in a day early to avoid traffic also! The home is even better than it is described in the listing. It is set up with everything you would need for a stay and more. It was extremely clean and well laid out for a comfortable stay. The location is great and neighborhood is quiet. We were able to park the boat very easily and there are great dock options and charging is convenient. We booked two more weeks for this fall and next spring before we even left! Thank you for a great stay!!

Everything listed in the description, is spot on and then some.We felt the host went above and beyond with communication. The house instruction binder was very helpful. He was also able to walk/direct my husband to the dock area with our rental boat because of some shallow spots. There is so much detail spent with kitchen/cooking items in the house. Honestly, we could have just walked in with food items and been set for cooking and dining our entire stay. Towels and bedding were plentiful.The 6 Grandkids ranging from 3 to 17 enjoyed themselves. From swimming, kayaking, bonfires, board games, paddle boating and fishing, they pretty much were spent at the end of the day and are looking forward to going back. Not to mention us adults had an excellent time.Check in/out was very easy and not complicated.All of us look forward to staying there again.
