Jeff and Marie offer a wonderful opportunity to see working ranch life in a beautiful part of Montana. The house is large, very comfortable and well-stocked and they are right there if you need anything at all.
We loved our stay. This was the 2nd time staying at this ranch. Jeff and Marie are great hosts. We stayed as a restful weekend halfway through our trip. It was perfect.
Jeff and Marie (Collin and Caitlyn) were beyond friendly and helpful. They have beautiful property and the guest house was very comfortable. This is a place we’ll forsure visit again.

What a beautiful and relaxing stay. Our boys enjoyed being able to explore the outdoors, pet the dogs, and ride the horses. Marie and Jeff are so nice and welcoming. Would love to return.

I’m glad the kids had fun exploring and riding the horses. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels!
We’ve never felt so at home with a stay or vrbo! This ranch is stunningly beautiful with everything you need to have a wonderful get away with your friends or family. Being close to the lake was an amazing bonus too! The owners are so kind and remind me of so many of my family members, they went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way. We hope to be back soon!

Thanks so much for the very positive review and feedback. Very good to hear the guest house worked out for you!
We greatly appreciate you for taking care of our home!
We had a perfect time (6 of us) at Staubach ranch. The property was beautiful. I’ve never taken so many pictures of a back yard. The owners are very nice and hospitable. They took some of us out on a horse ride. The house has plenty of space, is very comfortable and kitchen is very functional. We would stay again!

We appreciate the great review! We were so glad you and your family had a good time here!
Thanks for being so respectful of us and our property. The house was spotless! We hope to see you and your lovely family back at the ranch.
Beautiful farm property with amazing sunrise and sunsets!! Stayed with full family and room for everyone to stretch out and have space. the ranch is amazing and they have a beautiful rustic barn that they have set up for weddings and events which would be the best place to get married!
The hosts are on site and available to assist and very welcoming and they offer horse rides around the ranch for a small extra which is totally worth it!
We truly enjoyed meeting Jeff and Marie and were so pleasantly surprised with the cabin. It was very clean, roomy and had many sleeping options for our kids. The kids loved playing in the stream, catching frogs and meeting one of the ranch dogs! We loved sitting in the deck and watching the sun setting over the fields and mountains. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the tour of the ranch that was offered but plan on going back to stay!
A Montana Wedding - our 2nd stay at Staubach Creek Ranch!
All memebers of three generations gatheredto celebrate the wedding of our son and once again this ranch life escape provided the perfect place to accommodate those from out-of-town and enough room to feed the entire wedding rehearsal dinner!! The house is comfortable and complete with everything you need!! Since this was the 2nd time I have worked with the owners, I knew to expect these caring and thoughtful Montanans to check in on us and care enough to ensure our utter satisfaction. The ranch dogs were a delight to all and made everyone feel like we were at home. Again this year, our out of state guests saw elk, bald eagles, and even enjoyed several friendly walks to see the horses. Staubach Creek Ranch and Marie have made my hosting job a success two years in a row!!
Thank again!!!

Excellent Location, House is Average
The location of this house is the best part about it! Everything you need is within walking distance and you are very near the ocean which was great! Amazing breakfast spots less than a block away, lots of shopping, and things to check out near by. However, if this house was located in a less desirable area, it would have been disappointing.
The house itself is an older home so the layout isn't the best for privacy or accessibility. The jack and jill bathroom on the second floor is connected to both bedrooms and does not have a lock on either door. I wouldn't recommend this set up for grown adult couples in each room due to the lack of privacy but perhaps it would be fine for a family with the kids in the upstairs bedrooms.
The only other bathroom in the house is downstairs and is only accessible through the master bedroom.
The pool in the back patio is very small and would work for floating or sitting but no actual swimming will be done by an adult.
Also beware the floors are very dirty! They don't look dirty, but oh my, the moment you have to wipe something off the floor with the towel and the towel comes back dark grey... its concerning as to when the last time the floors were cleaned.
Overall we had a lovely time and the accommodations were adequate. Just pointing out a few things that if I been more aware of in the listing, I likely would not have booked this home since we were 3 adult couples traveling together. This is a much better set up for a family.
Jeff , Marie and their family were amazing. Such sweet people. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The ranch is so beautiful and peaceful. All the cares of the world just melt away at their ranch.
My family and I stayed at Marie's ranch house for the first couple of days of our stay in Montana before we went north to Glacier National Park. We had plenty of room and were comfortable from the moment she walked out to our truck to welcome us as we drove in. Wish we could have spent a little more time there. I highly recommend the Hoffners' house and hospitality.
Only stayed here 1 night - but wish we had stayed more! Wonderful accommodations and excellent hosts in Jeff and Marie. Will certainly go back and spend more time - even have the kids try horseback riding!
A stay here is a breath of fresh air. The location is beautiful, the house is clean, and the hosts went out of their way to accommodate our family of 9 and give our children a little taste of life on their ranch. Our only regret is that we had such a short stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We absolutely loved the ranch! The hosts graciously took us around the ranch to see the animals, letting my 4 year old feed a bottle calf, spend time with the horses, see a 3 day old colt, and play with their puppy! The puppy and my child’s exuberance matched in energy levels.
We wish we’d had more time to actually enjoy the views and fireplace in the family room, but this was just a short overnight for us.
Thank you Marie!
Well stocked kitchen With the hardware essentials for A family dinner and Breakfast! A nice great room for games and conversation
