We enjoyed the home as it was so stunning. The views are worth a million!! Could have used a few more serving pieces as we chose to prepare meals at home. Sadly it was cold and rainy so we could not enjoy the outdoor amenities, which is why we chose this spot. The bedrooms were charming and decor was amazing. Missing a dining table as it seems it is a different type of living design model. We were older ladies and had a hard time eating from our laps. Due to cold and rain, we could not use the outdoor table, but that view in good weather would have been so lovely. Loved watchin the Elk roam next door. We also did not do a good job of investigating local hot spots. We ended up in Sugarcreek and we should have ventured further to Berlin or Millersburg.
Everything about this cabin was First Class. If we were to build our own cabin, it would be just like this one. Great view from the back deck overlooking a pond, elk herd and soon-to-be putting green. It's a gated area, so be sure to write down the gate code. It opens automatically on your way out. There's plenty of outside seating and a gas fire pit on the deck, as well as a wood firepit by the parking area. Firewood is available near the entry gate. Be careful as you drive the hills around this area, there a lots of Amish buggies and electric bikes to watch out for, not to mention a few horse apples to dodge on the road. We had a Great Time! Thank You! - Tom & Jan
We loved our stay at cabin “45”. The cabin was spacious, clean and well appointed… the views out every window were outstanding… especially the elk farm next to the pond! We were in beautiful country but close to several towns for shopping and dining…even the weather was gorgeous!
