Well manged townhouse for Austin stay

An immaculate and well-mantained home. Beds were great and layout were great. It's convenient to the freeway, HEB supermarket, shopping, parks, etc. La Plaza Market is walking distance. Owner was very responsive. We were a family with 4 adult children attending a wedding; place worked well for us.

Overall this property was nice. Our family enjoyed our stay. Only concern was the neighbors who were smoking marijuana through out our visit. Our first night, we heard a couple fighting using foul language outside the bedroom window.

I was not aware the house was two-story when I booked. I traveled with 3 small children and had to construct a barrier so they did not play in the stairs. There was no yard for the kids to play in. I appreciated having the washer/dryer.

Comfortable, clean townhome!

We were five adults (three young adult daughters, hubby, and me) and a newborn, staying on the property. We stayed here for 25 days in July when one daughter had a baby. The townhome was clean and comfortable. I would have booked the unit with the backyard had I been paying more attention, but I was in a hurry. But it worked out well for our small dog. The neighborhood is all fourplexes. Lots of cars and trash cans on the narrow street. Some places are more kept up than others. But Jessica and Tommy’s property is mostly fenced in and nicely maintained. We felt fairly safe (my husband was with us only a week) and it was fairly quiet, even on the weekends. The neighborhood is near a school, a couple parks (with water play), and within walking distance to Southwestern University and all the gorgeous homes in the historic district (I’d walk there often in evenings). The property is close to the historic town square. Shopping is not far. Jessica and Tommy communicated well and were accommodating. There were some repairs that needed to be made, and they offered to take of issues immediately, but we opted to have them fixed after of our stay — nothing emergent. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry, especially since I have food allergies. We used the laundry facilities often with a newborn and the length of our stay. Definitely more room, more comfortable, and more economical than getting two hotel rooms. Overall, I would recommend this property.
