The Mountain Escape!

Your whole group will love the easy access to endless amenities including skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, kayaking, fishing, golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants and more! Our family home is off the access road to Stratton mountain with only a 7 minute drive to the base. The VERY well maintained 27 hole golf course that overlooks the mountain is only 5 minutes down the road.



Our large 4 bed, 4 bath home has everything you’re looking for in a VT vacation rental. Come home to hang out on one of the TWO decks after a long day of skiing, hiking or golf! The wide open living room with tall ceilings is perfect for an after dinner family game night by the cozy fire. Watch a movie or the game on the 80” screen TV that has a Roku hook up. Store your boards, skis, boots and jackets in the foyer next to the front door to dry! With the open kitchen, dishes should be easy and cooking is a breeze. Feel free to use the grill as well which has propane and is on the deck closest to the kitchen (Just be sure to clean up your mess when you are finished!).







On the top floor you will find most of the sleeping accommodations. Two total bedrooms. The first one consists of two bunk beds and the second room has two full size beds and a lofted twin. Right in the middle of it all is the loft with a pull out futon that overlooks the living room. Plenty of room up there to use one of our 2 camper cots or blow up a King sized mattress of your own if you are looking to squeeze in some friends and family during your stay. There is a full bathroom with a dual vanity and shower that can be used for a bubble bath if you so choose. Plenty of room to have a couple of people brush their teeth at the same time.







The main level is where you and your family or friends will spend most of your time cooking, eating and hanging out. The 75” TV is a big hit with our guests with two leather couches and a cozy chair to relax. The kitchen is wide open with a table and 8 chairs and a bench by the windows to drink your morning coffee. (Feel free to eat in the living room with a larger group!) The master bedroom and master bathroom are also on the main floor. With a dual vanity, standing shower and your own jacuzzi hot tub, you’re sure to have the best bedroom in the house. Not to mention the private balcony with a couple of chairs to stare at the stars at night.



In the basement you will find the second master bedroom with one queen bed and one full sized bed along with their own private bathroom. A great spot for parents or a couple that likes to go to bed earlier than the rest of the crowd. Attached you will find the garage which we like to keep off limits since this is where we keep things for storage and maintenance. There is a second area to store all of your ski gear in the basement to make sure there is plenty of space to dry your clothes after a long day on the mountain and no one steps in the puddles with their dry socks!



For larger groups or for groups that want to spread out more, the large couch in the living room is an option for people to crash. If you want to bring an air mattress there is also plenty of room to find a spot on each level.







Our goal is to provide wood for all of our guests to use for the fire pit as well as the fireplace in the living room. If for some reason you find there is no wood left (because some guests go through it faster than we can supply) the Winhall Market is at the bottom of the access road (1min away) and they sell it by the bundle. They also have AMAZING sandwiches and all the essentials, from fruits and veggies to pasta, snacks and beer. If you are looking to order out, keep in mind most places don`t deliver. Manchester has everything you could want for food but you’ll have to pick it up which is 15 minutes away. Our family favorite is just down the road called Family Kitchen & Pizzeria. Only 5 minutes away!
