Wonderful way to ring in the new year! This cabin is so cute and cozy! The hot tub is really nice and the fire place was amazing. We got lucky and it snowed a couple of days while we were there, truly was a relaxing trip.
Stayed 3 nights at this property & we loved it. We really appreciated the cold AC because it was 100 degrees the days we stayed. Cabin had all the modern amenities with a rustic feel. Close to Hocking hills state park. We loved the hot tub at night & the firepit area by the barn. Deck with hammock off the master bedroom was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place!
Place is nice. Snow storm came during our stay, we were told the driveway would be plowed prior to our 10am departure but it wasn't. Made for a tricky way down the hill. I would have left the day before the snow came but i was told the driveway would be plowed.
We had a really nice time at the cabin. From the private hiking to the hot soak in the tub the family (even the dog) has a nice relaxing few days. Everyone was sad to leave. We will definitely be back again!

Thanks so much Aubrey! Glad to hear you all had a great time at the cabin.
Our family enjoyed our stay at your home. Home was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the board games provided for family game nights. The hot tub was wonderful to get in early in the morning and listen to the wildlife in the woods.

Hey Chris, sounds like you all had a very relaxing time. We're really glad to hear and hope to have you all back again soon!
This cabin is beautiful, perfect spot for my friends and I to hang out, have a fire and relax. Close to hiking trails and the acres in the back were fun to hike. I loved the setup of the cabin, having the “bar”/fireplace away from the house where we can walk too. Overall great experience- Thanks Pat and Chelsea!!!

Accused of breaking the grill, and using charcoal, we absolutely did not do this!!

Hi Dixie, our family works very hard to care for these cabins and ensure each guest has a great experience, so it’s unfortunate to see this review given the circumstances. We wish you all the best in your future travels.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Bushby House! It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing Memorial Day weekend. We especially enjoyed the trails on the property which we hiked every day with our pup. The fire pit and the hot tub were also a treat. We also loved the app, so handy and helpful! We listened to their playlist and even visited the natural spring that they mentioned. It was great to have all of that information readily available. We would definitely recommend the Bushby House for guests that are looking for a little luxury but also some peace and quiet!
The Bushby was perfect!! The place had everything we needed & it was immaculately clean. It has an inviting & welcoming feel. We were allowed to bring our dogs & the Bushby was very accommodating. The property has all the hiking we wanted. The hot tub felt so good after a day of hiking & outdoor activity. We would give it more than 5 stars if we could, thank you for having us stay at your awesome place.

We appreciate the kind words, George! happy you had such a good time!
The location was fine but the neighborhood is not so inviting. The lighting in the cabin is very dull, especially in kitchen and the upstairs bathroom. The deer flies were terrible and made it difficult to be in the hot tub or outside. We were killing them with our shirts just so the kids could be in the hot tub.
Great location, super comfy - but you NEED a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to it
We stayed for 4 nights in mid-July, and we had a great experience.
There was only 3 of us, but more could fit you there is a nice amount of space.
The kitchen was well equipped, and the basics needed for cooking and coffee was better than a few other properties we have stayed at.
It's was nice and isolated, you will not be bothered by any sort of neighbor.
The drive is bumpy, and would absolutely be more than a challenge if you drive anything other than a 4-wheel drive truck or SUV.

This was a wonderful cabin to stay at for a vacation with friends to hocking hills! It is about a 15 minute drive from the old man’s cave hiking trail and other attractions like archery and horseback riding. There is also a hiking trail on the property that is a nice for morning or afternoon strolls, but be sure to bring bug spray and check for ticks. The cabin itself was very clean and homey. Some things we enjoyed most were the hot tub, fire pit, corn hole, deck area, and making meals together in the kitchen. While this isn’t the Vrbo fault, only thing I did not like about our stay is that one of neighbors down the road has a lot of dogs that roam around off leash. They stay on their property, besides one day they warmed our vehicles making it difficult to get to the cabin, so just be cautious.
We had a relaxing weekend. Very peaceful! The last day check out we were emailed with the code to door that check out time was 11a. Cleaning lady arrived at 10:10a asking us when we were leaving. I explained the email said 11a. Thankfully we had everything packed an ready. She was very pleasant we let her in to start cleaning while we packed up. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
