Lake Top Cottage - Midcoast Maine - New Reno - High-Speed WiFi
All travelers welcome. We support diversity and inclusion.
Lake Top Cottage is located in Maine's idyllic midcoast region. Jefferson is a small rural town with working farms and an Amish community. It is a twenty-minute drive to both the scenic coast and the state capital, Augusta. In Augusta, you will find big box stores and chain restaurants while the coastal region offers boutiques, art galleries, and farm-to-table restaurants.
This cottage is on top of a small blueberry knoll that catches the summer breeze just right. This private enclave's community access point to Clary Lake is a short walk down the hill (approx.500ft), where you will find a dock for swimming and a small boat launch. For larger boats, there is a state boat launch 1 mile away.
This newly renovated cottage with a separate bunkhouse is a great spot for family and friends to gather. The main house has an open-concept living area containing: the living room with a pull-out sofa, the dining area with seating for four, and the galley kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, and coffee maker. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and dresser. There is one bathroom in the main house and it has a walk-in shower. There is a washer and dryer. The bunkhouse is detached from the main house. It has a bunkbed that contains a full-sized bed on the bottom bunk and a twin-sized bed on the top bunk and two dressers.
Prior to this property's renovation, it was a studio space for a printmaking artist. You will find her artwork throughout the cottage.

We wanted a place off the beaten path. This was perfect. It is close to all the places around Jefferson and Damariscotta that we love. Great cabin for us
We enjoyed staying in this brand new, clean and cozy cottage. The host provided a lot of nice touches and it was totally worth the price!

Adorable little cottage on the lake, perfect for our week long staycation. The kitchen was amazing to have, and the bunkhouse made for a great addition

I’m so glad you enjoyed the cottage. I hope you may come again.
This was a great place to stay for our summer trip to Maine. We were there visit family and this place was the perfect spot to rest and recharge each day. The walk down to the water was short, and it was nice that there was a canoe available to use. The children loved having their own cabin to sleep in. Additionally, we were welcomed with crush cut flowers in every room, a bowl generously filled with snacks, and a lovely handwritten note. Overall, very happy with the location and the property.
It’s a beautiful place, newly renovated at the top of the hill above a gorgeous lake. Very relaxing, very calm place, great for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Homeowner was excellent to work with, she addressed a couple of minor issues promptly. The only downside that we experienced was that the bed was very noisy and incredibly hard, even for my husband who prefers a very firm mattress. Outside of that we would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.
I arrived early and Juliana was very accommodating while she cleaned she let me at least unload my fridge supplies(90 degrees)…kitchen was brand new and well stocked with a variety of tools…. I would have liked it closer to the lake…
I went up to Maine to visit my daughter who recently moved there. The cottage was cozy comfortably and super cute and very clean. . It was a short walk to the dock, where there was a canoe to use. The entire set up was perfect for my family. Juliana was a great host, anytime I would text her she would get back to me very quickly. She was great. We had a great experience.
Juliana’s cottage is perfectly sized for a family, couple or solo traveler.
We brought our toddler and baby and it felt safe enough for them to explore all over.
Having extra pans stored in the kitchen cabinets to cook with was so helpful and we were able to save a lot of money on our trip by going to the local farmers markets for groceries.
I loved that the detergent offered was a free and clear option as I forgot our detergent and we are sensitive to artificial fragrances.
Booth bay is only 40 minutes away as are other areas, so if you like peace and quiet at the end of a long vacation day and no crowds this is the perfect spot to lodge!
