Gigantic House-Great for Familes, Friends, Couples-Ocean Views-Steps to beach

Our house will be cleaned and disinfected for the COVID – 19 virus prior to your arrival. This includes all linens, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, keyboards, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks. Once you arrive at our house we will have hand sanitizer, hand soap and disinfectant wipes on hand for you to use.

Before you book if you are not aware of how the COVID - 19 virus might be affecting your stay in Baja or at our house in Las Gaviotas, feel free to reach out to us and we can provide the latest updates on what is open and available to use during your stay. This would include the beaches, surfing, the Las Gaviotas swimming pool, jacuzzi and tennis court along with the local restaurants.

This spacious 6 bedroom house was built for your comfort and enjoyment. Enjoy the panoramic ocean views from the two balconies of this 3 level, 4000 square foot house. This house is ideal for large families, a group of friends or multiple couples who enjoy relaxing together. Our prices are low because you can book directly with us and save. The top floor is the gem of the property. It has a large patio balcony, spacious living room, big kitchen and dining room.
* KITCHEN: Fully-equipped with modern appliances. Full oven and stovetop, microwave, double sink, large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, mixer, electric can opener, cutlery, crockery, saucepans, and over 200 square feet of black granite countertops including a 50 square foot black granite butcher block table. There is also a ceiling fan.
* LIVING ROOM: There are 2 three seat leather couches with one of them being a sofa sleeper, 3 two seat leather loveseats, and a recliner so you can relax and enjoy the 50 inch flat screen TV. We also recently installed a ceiling fan. Ceiling to floor windows with wooden blinds that lead to our gorgeous ocean view. The sliding glass doors open up to the balcony and the ocean.
* BALCONY: Patio table with umbrella. 10 chairs for the table. 2 chaise lounges to lay out on. Plenty of room to lay out and enjoy the warm Mexican sunshine. Check out the surf from our place to see if the surf looks good.
* DINING ROOM: One formal table that has 12 chairs. There is one other table off the kitchen that has 6 chairs.
* BATHROOM: One sink, vanity and toilet.
SECOND FLOOR: The second floor has one and a half bathrooms, four bedrooms, one with a fireplace and two others that are adjacent to a balcony with fabulous surf views. This balcony has a table with 4 chairs. The half bathroom has a washer and dryer that you can use while at the property.
* MASTER BEDROOM #1 has a KING-SIZED bed, dresser, two nightstands with patio doors leading to balcony area. Ceiling Fan/Lamp, Cable TV (27' TV),
* MASTER BEDROOM #2: KING-SIZED bed, two night stands and 2 lamps. A Ceiling Fan/Lamp, armoire, closet, two nightstands, with patio doors leading to balcony area.
* BEDROOM #3: KING-SIZED bed, two night stands and 2 lamps. A Ceiling Fan/Lamp, fireplace, Cable TV (27' TV). Adjacent to bathroom with tiled overhead shower stall, vanity and toilet.

The private beach, oceanfront pool, soothing jacuzzi, tennis, and volleyball courts are just a short walk from our house. Explore the tidal pools, lie on the sand beach, relax at the pool, fish from the jetty, or hit the surf with your friends. Due to the mild climate, the possibilities for relaxation and enjoyment are endless all year round.

A perfect weekend getaway!

Stayed in this house for the first time last weekend and had such a good time! The location is perfect. Close to Ensanada, Puerto Nuevo, Rosarito, etc. We were really impressed with the large kitchen and family room. We had 6 people staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view from the balcony is amazing too. Full 180 view of the beach. The beach is just a very short walk from the house and has a couple cabanas to sit under and a volleyball court. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area. It really was perfect for all of our needs.

Very happy with our stay

We just finished a 1-week stay in Las Gaviotas and had a great time. I think the pictures actually didn't do the house as much justice, it's lighter and brighter and feels bigger on the main living floor than shown. What we loved: *The kitchen was well-stocked with all appliances *The main living area was big and open and there were more than enough places to sit on couches or at the tables together for a large group *lots of games available to play *beds were comfortable *The house is on the side of the complex closer to the private beach and very close to the pickleball courts Some things we didn't love as much: *The stairs were very steep and a challenge to walk up, but that wasn't a surprise, just something to note *The 2 bottom floor bedrooms don't have windows to the outside. There are windows to the garage/hallway that let in natural light, but it felt a little stale and humid at times and a breeze would have been nice *There are no bathtubs (really only an issue if you have younger kids that need to bathe vs. shower) *As noted in the listing I'd definitely bring your own beach wagon if you need one as well as toys. The wagon/umbrella there were rusted and not in working order and selection of beach equipment was limited. There were a few chairs in good condition as well as many foam surfboards though Overall very happy with the house and we would return again if we had another large group!

Great space for two large families

This home was great for our two large families with lots of bedrooms and plenty of common space. The kids all had beds and space to hang out and us adults enjoyed our private balcony of the two master bedrooms. The owner had great communication, was supportive and helpful. We will be renting from them again.

If looking for large house in great location... this is it.

We were looking for a large house to take our whole family... and allow the kids to bring a friend. Los Gaviotas offers the opportunity to have a house overlooking the ocean...with a beach... pool...shuffleboard...nearby (5 minute drive) small area for eating out... and the security of a gated community.... at a substantially lower cost that in the US and the gift a the Mexican culture to enjoy. Every rental in Los Gaviotas is likely a good opportunity...but this house has the uniquely large size... and we found that being at the top row did was not significantly hard in terms of walking to the beach or pool....and the unique third story (that only this upper row of homes has) provides an exceptional view down over the ocean... to even watch the surfing. If one can be prepared that these ocean facing community rentals are not quite the common US standards in style and quality.... but serve a Mexico vacation well...and are okay with the stairs involved in a 3 story home... you will have a great time. Owners are available and responsive as others note. They provide great directions on reaching the place...and every element involved...and easy check out. The garage currently had a couple surfboards... and this is a great location to try surfing...even if the first time. They also had wetsuits, chairs, a couple footballs, and a kayak.

Las Gaviotas

Las Gaviotas is great for large parties and security makes you feel 100% safe. Pls read the rules before you book. they have a 10pm no noise curfew and everyone follows (which was fine for us ) the location was great and not to far from rosarito beach. Robs house was great and had everything we needed for our stay. there is a grocery store 4 mins away if anything is needed. Loved that they have a Mariscos & taco spot right at the pool of this gated community . will deff stay here again.

Large Living Space for Families

Three floors, first floor has the garage and 2 bedrooms that are extra quiet. Second floor has 4 bedrooms, two of which have a view of the ocean and a balcony that connects two both bedrooms. Top floor has living room, kitchen and dining room area, complete with the balcony. Top floor is very spacious, never felt cramped in the slightest with 12 people there. Do take in consideration the steps, it can get tiring going up and down all day, besides that we enjoyed our time there, all of our cooking utensils and pots and pans were met, we BBQ as well. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, and even lit a bon fire at night on the private beach. The waves were a bit rough for the little kids to be in, but we took a short trip to Rosarito beach for the toddlers to enjoy. Took a short trip to Puerto Nuevo as well and enjoyed their food and shopping district, took advantage of the Calimax there to take out money from the ATM. Strict guidelines make this place a very safe place and everyone is very friendly. Would use this again for a family reunion.

We stayed in Costa Azul for 3 nights with friends and family and had an absolutely wonderful time! The home was clean, open and bright. Everything worked and the view was the cherry on top! There was more than enough room to spread out. We played board games, we grilled outside, we drank around the kitchen island, we ate together at the dining table, used the water boards and bikes available in the garage, etc. Then there's the Las Gaviotas community pool, jacuzzi, gym and private beach! Beautiful views, nice people and clean environment, all at a fraction of the cost of north of the border.

The stay I had at Robs Vacation Rental in Los Gaviotas was one of a lifetime. Me and my friends were able to sit back relax and enjoy the simple pleasures Baja has to offer. We stayed in this 6 bedroom house in Los Gaviatos, located near between Rosarito and Ensenada. This was an excellent location and house for our 9 visitors at my wife's retirement and birthday celebration. Excellent views of the nearby beach and ocean with plenty of room and large bedrooms. Very clean and fully supplied cooking kitchen. The location allowed us to visit both Rosarito and Ensenada. I would highly recommend this rental for those going to Baja.

We are a family of 6. Mom, Dad and 4 teenagers. Mom and Dad are retired United States Naval officers that are now working to raise their children. We live in San Diego so we are a short trip (less than an hour) from this house in Las Gaviotas.

Why they chose this property

In 2002, a friend offered us a chance to stay at their house in Las Gaviotas. Being from the east coast we were a bit apprehensive about going to Mexico. We were wrong. Very wrong. We enjoyed our short stay so much that we continued to rent other houses with friends and family and continued to have wonderful, short get a ways to our slice of paradise in Mexico at Las Gaviotas. In 2003 we decided to buy a place. We have not looked back since.

What makes this property unique

Once we turn into the gates of Las Gaviotas we witness the beautiful ocean view and we feel the peace and serenity of the area. We love to walk around the community especially the paved paths along the coast and down to the beach. Having the amenities of the house, vice a hotel, gives our whole family and friends the room to spread out and make everyone feel like they are at home. We hope you feel the same experience.
