Holly Nest is on a wooded acre minutes from the bustle of Gatlinburg, making it perfect for a Great Smoky Mountain getaway. One bedroom plus sleeping loft provides a cozy space to unwind, while the outdoor fire pit and picnic area extend the tiny living beyond four walls. Easily accessible on Hwy 321 and convenient to all the area has to offer, including national park trailheads less than 10 minutes away.
Holly Nest is a modern cabin providing the quaintness of a tiny traditional mountain home. Nestled amongst holly trees and mountain laurel, you will have plenty of fresh air to unwind and relax while enjoying the entire tiny cabin.
Start your mornings with a cup of tea or coffee (a Keurig coffee maker and K-cups are provided) rocking on the front porch and plan your day in the serenity of the Great Smoky Mountains. Inside the cabin, vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan make up the fully-equipped mini kitchen and cozy living room area. Lounge on the couch and watch your streaming apps on a flat-screen Smart Roku TV or play provided games and cards for entertainment. You'll find a cozy main floor bedroom with a queen bed and cute loft with a full-size bed, both well-appointed with quality bedding. The bathroom comes furnished with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, and a hairdryer.
You cabin experience includes an outdoor living space that offers rocking chairs on the porch, as well as a fire pit, campfire grill grate, charcoal grill, and picnic table for your private use during your stay.
Truly, if you're looking to explore the GSMNP without the crowds, Cosby is for you. The hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are nearby, but Cosby and our cabins provide a true mountain experience. You can even avoid the traffic congestion by coming off I-40 at the Newport or Wilton Springs exits and find a quiet, scenic 10-14 mile drive.
There's parking on the premises as well as an outlet for electric vehicle charging. A Nema 14-50R outlet for EV charging is provided for register guests only. Guests will need to bring their own charging cables, etc. NO RV charging and/or RV stays.
Another rental cabin is on this wooded lot and other guests may be present during your stay, but your outdoor picnic area and firepit are for you private use. Because the driveway and parking area is shared space, we ask you limit cars to two and share the charging outlet equally. Please be aware that the driveway is short, but steep to the road.
Pets are NOT allowed. Any unauthorized pets brought in the cabin will result in an added $100 fee for a deep cleaning. Parties/events are not permitted, as we encourage you to enjoy the serenity of the mountains. Also, bears have been spotted on our property, so you are asked to keep garbage and coolers from collecting outside.
