About the host
Hosted by Nicole Ferrara
I believe most great life memories are made by spending quality time together with the people you love , doing simple things together. I'm a fisherman's daughter, and have an affinity for waterfront living. I married a fisherman ... and so it goes. Laughing, sharing a meal or good conversation surrounded by the sights and sounds of things the good Lord provides to us for free. While I spend my days doing challenging executive non profit work , I greatly enjoy the time I get with my family and friends . I tend to like small towns , with quaint mom and pop shops, live music , a "locals" culture, walkable town, polite people , warm tropical climates, and access to water activities. My hope is that you too enjoy these special places , doing what you love - solo or with those you love - surrounded by nature and the simple things in life.
Small town island life. Direct access to world class fishing and venues filled with friendly and simple folks.

What makes this property unique
Walkable town , nice friendly people, great fishing, beautiful sunrises and sunsets , wildlife and marine life, small shops ,good breakfast joint, happy hour / dinner spot, live music , community events, and fresh seafood. All of this can be found in Matlacha and the towns on Pine Island. They are community oriented, and the impact of Hurricane Ian proved it! The locals are resilient, helpful , neighborly, and ISLAND STRONG! There is so much history here - a visit to the museum on Pine Island will fill you in! If you want a change of pace and a great night out - Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, are many sandy gulf coast beaches are all just a quick ride away! Naples is even under an hour - Matlacha is tucked away, but close to it all!
