In addition to having the North Carolina Maritime Museum around the corner, you'll be a short and scenic drive from the beach on Radio Island (less than three miles), Atlantic Beach (seven miles), and Fort Macon State Park (nine miles).

Nice house close to the waterfront

Great location - walk to downtown shops, restaurants, waterfront and museum. Beds are very comfortable.

Nice House!

We enjoyed staying at this property and it’s a very smooth check in and checkout process. The house was clean and modern. The location was great to walk to downtown where there were several restaurants, shops, and a ferry. We took the ferry to Bird Shouls and enjoyed how nice and quiet it was. Lunch at Black Sheep was good although service is slow. Dinner or lunch at Beaufort Grocery is really good. You must try the cake! For the Ferry, reserve this ahead of time as they sell out. We didn’t find any while sand dollars but lots of seashells. No bathrooms on the island. The house has a nice front porch and it’s across from a police station so we felt safe. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash was provided along with towels and linens. The kitchen was well equipped.
