Also close to great attractions such as the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, Chesapeake Hyatt and only a 1 hour drive to Ocean City. This property is the perfect getaway from the hectic life we all live.
The home is a open floor plan with a large modern kitchen, open living area and a beautiful screened in porch to enjoy dinner while taking in the waterfront view and the sounds of geese honking and the full display of mother nature. There's even a Orange Crush machine for cocktails!

Our second stay at Goose Landing. Beautiful property and lovely house. We had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation. The screened porch was our favorite place for meals and evening games. And we caught many crabs off the dock this year. We hope to return again.

Stayed for a week with my husband and our daughter and her family. We took boat and crabed and fished with our grandson. Caught enough crabs for eating and picking. House was clean and bedrooms were comfortable. Had a nice screened in porch facing the water and an enclosed sitting room facing the pool and water. Pool is not deep but my 9 yo grandson enjoyed it! We saw a herd of deer, several cats, one was very friendly, a turtle, a water snake and two little critters in the water that may have been musk rats. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Relaxing Vacation

Goose landing was the perfect place for our family vacation. The house was beautiful and well appointed and the property was secluded and quiet. Canoe, kayaks, dock for fishing and crabbing, pool, and a very comfortable screened porch for meals and evening games made our vacation wonderful! We will return. Thank you Doug!

Beautiful house and property!

We enjoyed a family get-together at Goose Landing. The house is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have found on VRBO -- the owners thought of everything. The pool is refreshing, the property has stunning views of the water (and a gorgeous sunset), and the ping pong table was a bit hit! The beds were very comfortable and it was a bonus to have three in-suite bathrooms plus a full hall bathroom. I highly recommend this property and hope we have the opportunity to stay again.

Coastal Paradise

We have been staying on the eastern shore for 10 years. This location and home are spectacular and it met the needs of our entire group We couldn’t have asked for a better communication from the host. Doug was focused on making our stay perfect. We took advantage of the kayaks in the mornings and saw plenty of wildlife in the nature reserve across the water- osprey, blue herons, an egret and a bald eagle. The pool was our go to spot during the heat of the day. The house was perfect for our family with 3 beautiful private suites with a bath and the bunk bed room was a favorite of my granddaughter. We loved to sit on the screen porch in the evenings or play games in the yard. This house has it all! Thanks Doug for sharing your place with us!

Goose Landing is a Delight

From the initial renting of the property at Goose Landing to the checkout, everything about our experience was exceptional. Doug, the property manager, has excellent communication skills and was very responsive. Doug assured me that my family was going to enjoy an outdoor retreat in a comfortable, spacious environment, and he was spot on! My children and grandchildren experienced crabbing, canoeing, kayaking, and splashing in the pool. One night, we had a fish feast that included the fresh perch that the children caught right off the dock. They were thrilled and very excited! The lovely home was generously appointed with every possible item that we might need, and I was most appreciative of not having to transport linens and towels! The garage game room provided lots of fun, too. This was our first stay at Goose Landing, but we’re thinking it won’t be our last. My entire family heartily recommends this beautiful rental. The only negative to our entire week was knowing that it was going to come to end! We thank the owners for opening up their home to guests, and we thank Doug for ensuring that coordinating the logistics was an easy process.

Our host Doug was great to work with-very responsive.We had 6 adults and the way the house is layed out, the gathering spaces were really large and the bedrooms weren’t on top of each other; plenty of privacy. Some of our group used the pool almost every day. We also used the kayaks in the creek behind the house. The setting is very tranquil, yet only a short drive from Cambridge. Oxford, Easton and St. Michaels were fun towns to explore. Everyone had a great time at this wonderful property.

I get together with my kids and grandkids on the eastern shore every year. We had to change venues at the last minute because of a sale of our usual VRBO. I found this one and it was a definite trade up! Property was very clean. Well appointed. Lots of kids toys. Pool was maintained. Host responded to anything within an hour. We have already booked for next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spacious, peaceful, and felt wonderfully secluded while still offering everything we needed. The views were absolutely beautiful, and we loved spending time outside taking in the scenery.One of the highlights was the wildlife around the property. We enjoyed watching jellyfish and stingrays from the dock. Our children especially loved the ping pong table and arcade games in the garage.Overall, this was a fantastic place for our family getaway. We highly recommend this property and hope to return again in the future!
