The views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, Kit Carson especially, are breath-giving. The house is set on 2 1/2 acres of land, bordered by National land and serenaded by the soothing sounds of Willow Creek. The Crestone community is shared by a diverse range of spiritual and new age centers, and is also a mecca for alternative, green and sacred architecture. With prolific wildlife and exquisite nature, this is an ideal location for your retreat.

A perfect relaxing escape

It was just what we needed; a beautiful, quiet, relaxing escape. Close to a number of great trails and sights including the Great Sand Dunes and the stars at night were truly magical. The place was clean, accommodating, and did I mention comfortable and relaxing? Highly recommend and we look forward to our next stay here.

Quiet and Peaceful - great place for our retreat

This lovely home was a wonderful place for our two week retreat. Lovely views from the windows and patio, and very peaceful. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the pots, pans and utensils we needed for cooking. Hope to return again next year!

Drawn to the Casita years ago as a writing/meditation retreat, it was a joy to come into possession of the Casita when our friends were able to let it go.
