Loved Cinnamon Shore - not our rental that we chose

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location, layout fine - NO amenities upon arrival (no coffee, filters, salt). Bathroom tub backed up when taking a shower (we called office/immediate response and fix). Living room furniture was so uncomfortable and needs replacement (sat around the table the entire visit). We enjoyed everything else about Cinnamon Shores (all restaurants, pools, beach). Would not return to this property or recommend to others. Sorry.

Super accurate listing - very comfortable - perfect location Door lock was a bit wonky and we only had one roll of toilet paper - which I am sure was just an oversight - but a very comfortable unit. Shower head should probably be changed -

We like not having to get back in our car until it’s time to travel home. We have stayed in the same place twice and love it! The only downfall for us, was the bed was too high and hard to get in and out. We’ll definitely be back. Look forward to the new restaurant opening!

Cinnamon Shore staff (check in/out, communication, etc) can’t be beat! My only input to the owners would be to update the couch. We were unable to really utilize the living room as the couch cushion was thin and worn.

Best Beach Getaway in Texas

Reviewer Comments: Recently, my mom was visiting from Europe and we ended up booking a 5 night stay at the Cinnamon Shore to enjoy the beach without a long drive.It took us 4 hours from Austin to get there and it was all we could wish for. A lovely place, clean rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a serene community, 2 pools, conveniently located restaurants on the property as well as plenty of activities for kids and adults, including my personal favorite - yoga on the beach. It’s been my fourth time staying at the Cinnamon Shore and it’s been great to come back every time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to Cinnamon Shore for Mother’s Day weekend and it was another great stay. The weather held nicely, the condo was nice, the staff always friendly and the neighborhood was safe and clean. The only downside to the trip was the excessive amount of seaweed that had washed up on the beach. If the City of Port A would have come through daily and scooped it up, the beach would have been perfect. Next time, we will just bring a rake. But other than that, it was a great trip.

A Decent Option at Cinnamon Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for a week, and it got the job done. We were disappointed with the furniture in the apartment, which obviously looked old and was not in great shape, and the mediocre kitchen setup. The condo is in desperate need of an update, as it is very outdated and the furniture (couch, rug, etc) show that its past it's prime. The photos online made it appear in better condition than it actually was in person. On a positive note, the location of this condo is pretty central to the beach, multiple pools, and the main restaurants and coffee shop towards the entrance of the property. Additionally the area where live music and other main attractions take place is right across the street from the property. While that is a convenience, during high-traffic times of year where there is much going on each day, the noise could probably get annoying. While the property was pretty empty during our visit, we appreciated that there were signs up alerting everyone to quiet hours on the property. While we were not impressed with our condo, we will definitely return to Cinnamon Shores in the future, and will try other homes and condos. We specifically enjoyed the beach, the infinity pool on the property, and the coffee shop. We also appreciated that the property is a short drive away from a few fast food options and some restaurants in Port Aransas.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Room was unsatisfactory. There were stains on the rugs bedding and chairs. There was a rug under the bed that was in horrible shape. The mgr came to the room and noticed the same thing, She had the rug removed, The bed had to be reinforced due to the sagging in the middle. Sofa was in bad shape as well, All the furniture looked cheap. The manager & maintenance crew were fantastic trying to get it all fixed since there were no other rooms available. We have pictures if you would like to see. Again Amanda the mgr. was GREAT. The rest of the property was very nice.

There were holes in the walls from moved pictures and such that weren't repaired and the overall look was tired. There were no instructions for using the Tv and the kitchen lacked a few amenities. Overall we were satisfied with the condo and will return to a different unit next time.
