About this property
One bedroom house in United States of America, Blowing Rock
Welcome to Box Lunch! This historic duplex built in 1875 was once where travelers on the Blue Ridge Parkway could stop in for the famous picnic lunches & fancy pastries.
Minutes from App Ski Mtn, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock & Boone, this location is perfect for anything you’d like to do on the Blue Ridge - hiking, skiing, sightseeing, shopping & more! When you’re ready to relax, sit with a book & enjoy the beautiful view from the sunroom bedroom.
This unit is the right side of the duplex.
Please note - since Box Lunch was built in the 1800s, the ceiling downstairs in the kitchen is only about 6 ft 3 inches high. If you are taller than that, you will need to duck or send a shorter friend downstairs to make your meals
Appalachian Ski Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway right next door!
Box Lunch is located on a very quiet street off of US HWY 321.
It feels secluded and you’re still so close to it all.
Please note: our neighbor does have a dog and you may hear her greet him when he gets home but most of the time she is quiet! She may also greet your dog by barking if she hears your dog. Thank you for understanding!
