Great place to stay in SGI!!

We stayed in Blue Wave during Easter weekend and it was great! The property matches the description, has great views and very good bedrooms. The pool is small but the kids still had fun with it!! The only thing that needs to be addressed by the property management company is the grill, which is falling apart from all the rust. Thankfully we did not have plans to use it during the stay, otherwise it would be frustrating.

Our March 2025 stay at Blue Wave is over. Always the best time when we stay there. The house is very clean and in excellent condition. SGI provided a week of beautiful weather. We will be back.

Blue Wave Delight

We stayed for 5 days. 3 couples. It was perfect. Wonderful open concept which allowed for plenty of visiting together. The porch across the front is fabulous. Lots of seating for a spectacular view! Would definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough amazing things about our stay at blue wave. Tish, the owner, was wonderful with communication. When we arrived, the home was super clean and stocked with all the basics you would receive at a hotel, plus some. The house and view were perfect! We will definitely be back!!

Great Property!

Great rental property ... five stars. Property is very clean and comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. The deck on the front was the best part! It was great for watching the ocean and enjoying an outside coffee / meal. Half the deck is covered which is extra nice for shade from the hot sun. Small pool in the back was great to cool off in, when we wanted something different from the ocean. The outdoor shower was very nice to rinse off after walking back from the beach. Very easy walk to the beach! Just a short walk across the street (3 minute walk) and beach is high quality with plenty of space to spread out. Island is small and only a few restaurants but we had all we needed. We enjoyed the seafood and pizza restaurants, the ice cream place and the small grocery store. Owners were very responsive, when we needed them, which was only once. Wifi did have an issue when we got there but the owners quickly engaged the provider, and the provider came out quickly and installed a new Wifi router, and then everything worked great in the wifi. Netflix subscription is included in the rental so we watched / streamed multiple free movies and shows. Note - there is not any cable or local TV channels (just the Netflix).

We have been going to St. George Island for over twenty years and there is no beach like it! The undisturbed beauty and tranquility are so refreshing and the beaches are pristine. Dolphin watching is a regular thing and there are never big crowds. Come experience a rare secluded unspoiled beach. As a native Floridian, I can say this beach is truly special. This is the second home we have owned on the island.
