Grafton Getaway @ Overlook Lodge - an 8,000 sq foot home on 33 acres & sleeps 35

Welcome to our Overlook Lodge location (one of 8 Grafton Getaway Guesthouses) where we sleep up to 35 guests on our 33 acre property overlooking Lockhaven Public Golf Course and the Mississippi River Valley. This one a kind property hosts many special events such as family reunions, corporate retreats, weddings, church groups, yoga retreats, and team building retreats. The Lodge is just 12 minutes from the quaint river town of Grafton IL and just 40 minutes from Lambert Airport in St. Louis MO. At all locations we hope to host your next couples, family, or group getaway or special event.

The long driveway is shared with our Cottage location which is to the north of the Lodge and which is a separate stay. It can be rented in conjunction with the Lodge at a separate price...please inquire.

Guests at hotels call the front desk when they need something...if ever during your stay you feel your satisfaction is not at a 5-star level please call/text right away, while you are still with us, so we can remedy the situation and make your stay all you hoped it would be.

Company Board Meeting

We held our company board meeting at the house. Plenty of space inside for everyone and we had a lot of fun with the game room downstairs. The firepit has plenty of seating and was a nice feature. It was a great experience, and we will likely be back.

Great Location with Plenty of Room!

The Grafton Getaway was a perfect spot for our regional meetings. Plenty of room for our large group. Kitchen was well stocked for all of our needs. We took advantage of the big TV for presentations and enjoyed the outside fire pit in the evenings.

Grafton Work Retreat

The property was great! We had 18 adults and 1 child for our lab retreat, for which we utilized the TV to connect a laptop for presentations. We also cooked many meals, played games, watched movies, and enjoyed the outdoors. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our retreat :)

Family gathering to celebrate parents 60th anniversary

This was a great location and home. We needed a large place to be able to fit our entire immediate family for weekend stay. We had so much fun playing games, cooking and eating, watching movies, enjoying the outdoors at the house and in the area, and just laughing and enjoying family time. Thanks for a great stay, it had been around 30years since our parents had all 5 of us under one roof for multiple days, glad we could do this for there 60th anniversary.

Awesome place for a group!

All of the parents and teens enjoyed our stay so much! The kids loved the arcade game, giant chess set and games, hot tub and sauna. They played outside on the lawn and watched a game and movie on the big screen TVs. It was easy to make and serve meals in the kitchen area. We will definitely be back!
