Beautiful, clean, and a great place to unwind after a day of hiking and outdoor adventures. It was the perfect amount of space for our small family and dog! We loved being secluded in the woods while still being able to reach all the places we wanted to visit within a 20 minute drive.
Stay was wonderful! Super cozy place. Wonderfully close to all the Hocking Hills destinations, and easy access to the highway for heading to Columbus and surrounding areas. We did have a mjnor technical issue with the door.. but they responded within minutes and addressed it post haste. We would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone.. already talking about coming back!

This was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway and we will come back anytime.
The home was very clean inside and out. There were plenty of plates, cups, and utensils. Most importantly they were all very clean. The workout room, sauna, and hot tub were such a great addition. We are all coffee snobs and the coffee provided was awesome!
Overall superior property and great cabin. Slight area of concern was the gas fire pit would not work. I believe propane tank was out, and due to wet wood fire pit endeavor was not the best.
Great house. Brand new. Tons of great amenities. Very quiet location. Lots of space. House fit the vibe of the trip. High end with rustic feel. Very clean. Well appointed. Seriously zero complaints. Also- if you stay here sleep in the upstairs bedroom with the ceiling fan on. Thank me later- best sleep ever.
This cabin exceeded expectations with its spacious accommodations, outstanding craftsmanship and impeccable cleanliness. It was the perfect complement to reside in after exploring the trails and rock formations as you still remain in nature with the large windows and beautiful decks. There are nice memories spending morning and evenings on the decks listening to the bird calls. The loft contains a wide screen tv, shuffle board and card table. Board games are available in the shelves near the tv. The bottom level has a hot tub on the deck and a spa in the workout area. The spacious layout of the cabin allows everyone to claim their own area and relax, and the common areas allow everyone to come together comfortably for good times. It truly was a pleasure staying here and thank you for all the care and detail that was apparent throughout the cabin.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
The place was beautiful! Our family loved it. Big windows for a gorgeous private view. 3 full bathrooms. Great quality fixtures and appliances. Perfect for a 4 and 8 yr old. We did movies upstairs, the twin bed in the basement were perfect, the places provided games and puzzles. They had everything we needed and more (we just had to run out and get laundry detergent and dishwasher pods). Reception is okay at the house. The private path behind the house was perfect to test out how the kids would handle other hiking destinations. The hot tub and sauna were clean and in great condition. We were glad to bring dry wood ourselves or we wouldn’t have been able to have a fire. The house had smores sticks. The only two downfalls were the cleaners seem to just have started when we arrived so we left for awhile and because of bad reception, missed the owners confirmation that it was ready and, we didn’t know there would be house pretty closely next to us. That would’ve been nice to know but, still very peaceful when other guests were there.
We had a most wonderful 4 day stay and really maximized our time spent at “the oak”. We didn’t want to leave and could have easily doubled our stay. Lots of things to do from hiking the property’s trail to listening to records, such as the Eagles and Frank Sinatra. This place is a gem!
We had a wonderful week-long stay. The Oak is super clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. We loved cooking meals, playing games, and enjoying the hot tub and beautiful views. What stood out most was how peaceful and quiet it was. There is a smaller cabin nearby, but we never once heard the guests staying there, so it felt very private and secluded. The host's communication was excellent, with quick responses and clear information throughout our stay. The property can be a little tricky to find, and the roads are hilly and winding, but it is absolutely worth it for the peace and tranquility. We would happily stay here again!
Had the most wonderful time at this beautiful accommodation. Wonderful relaxing atmosphere and lovely to come back to after a day of hiking. Had everything you could need and more, just need your clothes and personal toiletries and your set. Fantastic response when booking and let us know they were always available if needed when arriving. Definitely recommend this and hope to return in future
