Cozy, first floor (accessible via stairs or elevator), stylish apartment with a 65” TV, and views of the skyline. Perfect, safe, accommodating stay for visiting Des Moines.

On site gym with Peloton.

Boho House Rules:

1. No pets allowed. Kindly inform us if you will be accompanied by a service animal.
2. Absolutely NO food or drinks on furniture. Use kitchen & kitchen table.
3. No Shoes on furniture.
4. No guests staying over the amount in booking.
5. Please respect space & have a great stay

We have posted house rules in the unit, but this is just a gentle reminder—not meant to be taken personally. It’s simply to ensure our units stay up to standard and to share friendly tips.

Charges/Fees:

1. Smoking Fee - $150
2. Tampering with owners closet - $100
3. Tampering with Minut noise alarm - $150
4. High noise level during quiet hours (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) - $100
5. Excessive trash & debris (unit, patio or garage) - $75
6. Excessive amount of dirty dishes - $25
7. Damaged furniture, appliances, electronics
8. Forgotten items can be shipped with $100 + shipping and handling costs
9. Late check out can be accommodated until 12:30 pm for $50. Failure to check out without prior notice will result in a $100 charge.
10. Additional guest after confirmed booking is $10 per person.

We were pleased with our stay at the Boho Box. It's a cute and comfortable rental for a couple. Keep in mind that the sofa is a loveseat and not suitable for sleeping. The WiFi was fast and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Tiana!

Everything you could possibly need was there from poo pourri, q-tips and cotton balls in the bathroom to K-cups, filtered water pitcher in the kitchen to a fabulous 65in TV in the living room. Checkin was simple and quick as was checkout and the place was immaculate and comfortable.

Vacation in Des Moines

After traveling for a week we ended our vacation in Des Moines. This VRBO suited our needs very well. We had a question for our host and received an immediate response. Highly recommend if you’re traveling in the area. It was with 10-15 minutes of sights we wished to visit.

Great Place with one exception

This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway. Short walking distance from numerous bars, restaurants & venues in East Village. 7-10 minute walk to Wells Fargo arena (we walk fast). The room was clean, communication was excellent with the property owners/managers as we had a couple questions. The Pura Social Club on the first floor (which is only open on weekend nights) does not have a good reputation and needs to go. It draws a crowd that is not representative of the residents that live there. From news reports it appears that the building management is seeking to evict the night club. That would be the deciding factor on whether we would stay there on a weekend again. The other residents/neighbors were fine.
