Welcome to The Florida House!

This fun, family friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located in West Bradenton, just 8 miles from Anna Maria Island and 5.5 miles from Bradenton Beach. We're also only 3 miles from IMG Academy.

Kick back and relax in the spacious living room equipped with a smart TV. Then, venture into the backyard to grill out and play some corn hole.
Relax and unwind with a dip in the pool or hot tub and lounge in the hammocks.

There's something here for everyone!

Upon opening the front door you will see a postcard style mural and a spacious living room. There is a welcome binder on the entry table full of recommendations for things to do, restaurants, where to grab a drink, and brochures/flyers for nearby attractions. All our favorites and insider tips are in here!

Look further and you will see an Insta-worthy accent wall covered in oranges with a neon sign that reads "stay awhile". Have a seat in one of the comfy green velvet chairs to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea from our coffee bar, or a cocktail in the evening.

In the kitchen you'll find all the cooking basics: pots, pans, baking sheets, spatulas, measuring cups, mixing bowls, tongs, a toaster, blender, etc. There is also vegetable oil, olive oil, salt, & pepper.
You'll also find stylish wine glasses and a shaker set on the open shelving. There are extra glasses in the cabinet.

The dining room table is large and comfortably seats 8. There is a high chair (stored in master closet) for your little one to join you at the table.

On one side of the house you will find two guest rooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double and twin size bed. There is a guest bathroom with bathtub next to these rooms.
On the other side is the spacious master, with a large king bed and a dedicated work space. There is a mini crib and rocking chair in the large master closet. There is also an AC vent in the closet that keeps it nice and cool. The master bathroom features a walk in shower and double sink vanity.

Finally - the backyard! When you step out the back sliding glass door you will find the screened in patio, complete with a seating area and string lights overhead. In the backyard there is something for everyone. Grill your favorite meal, enjoy a drink in the Adirondack chairs, lounge in a hammock, play some corn hole, take a dip in the pool, or unwind in the hot tub. WE DO REQUIRE GUESTS TO SIGN A HOT TUB LIABILITY WAIVER.

In the garage there are beach chairs, an umbrella, and kids toys you are welcome to borrow during your stay. Beach/ pool towels are also provided

Hot tub heater didn’t work. Owner called to get it fixed. Ice maker didn’t work. Screen patio the screens needed to be fixed as we had wasps & other bugs in it due to holes. Patio door was broken. Tried to fix but screws were not long enough to hold the door tight. Beds were much too hard!Kitchen & bathrooms facilities were great w many extra features like coffee maker & the appliances were great (washer & dryer & supplies)Pool was great & warm enough weather that we could use the hot tub & pool without the heater working. Found lots of shops & food eating facilities close by.Host was responsive & tried to handle whatever w asked/inquired about.Beach towels & equipment was very well supplied.Definite wasp/outside bug control issues, partly due to the screen patio issues mentioned above.Bedrooms/bathrooms were very well supplied! Unfortunately the back yard was rather disappointing with the trees gone and lack of yard work. But it was way too hot to enjoy outside anyway! But the house was perfect and cute as can be! This was a great property. Close to IMG, the beaches, and GT Bray. Very spacious living area. We were there during one of the hurricanes and no issues. Power stayed on and we were not in a mandatory evacuation zone.

We loved this home. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved the pantry for storing our groceries. The entire home was decorated nicely and it felt very spacious. We will definitely come back.

10 minutes to IMG Academy

We were in town for a soccer tournament for my son and the house is about a 10 minute drive to the fields at IMG Academy. It was convenient and had everything we needed. Hosts were super responsive to questions and extra helpful with returning items that we forgot at the house. Highly recommend!

Kids enjoyed both pool and hot tub, plenty of space for everyone, good size kitchen, has blender and toaster, plates, glasses and utensils. Few pots and pans - enough to cook breakfast or simple dinner. Close to beaches on AMI. There is no vacuum cleaner, so tidying up during the week was harder. Pool and hot tub were cleaned 2 times by professional team while we were there - which is great, as we were using both.

Initially, I was looking forward to staying at this VRBO and communication with the host was impressive. This all changed when I arrived with my family. The house was not clean, linens were stained, furniture was falling apart and there was dirt throughout the house. I contacted the host stating I would not be staying there and that it needed to be cleaned. The host stated it was clean, this was escalated to VRBO and I have now taken a loss. I wish this was not the outcome and it is unfortunate but to say it ruined the family vacation is an understatement.

The perfect house!

Checking in could not have been easier. The moment we walked through the door we felt at home. The pool kept our 6 and 10 year old grandkids busy while we settled in.The basket of toys was a very nice touch for all the children to enjoy. We really liked the master bedroom being on the opposite side of the house from the other two bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The neighbor hood was very nice and quiet. We felt very safe during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home and would stay again in the future.
