Clean... but would not stay again

Host has 24 hour survillance i guess, we were very uncomfortable in the home. Seemed as if someone was always watching us. It was wierd. Also, there were two different gun shooting incidents in the neighbor and finally someone ( a man) showed up to the house trying to get in the house. This definitely not ever going to be a go to me.

I just want to take this opportunity to address a few items in the review the guest made after their stay with us. The guest mentions 24 hour surveillance, for point of reference we have 2 Ring cameras outside: a backyard floodlight camera and front door bell camera. Both cameras are disclosed prior to booking, and anyone that is familiar with using short-term rentals, can agree that cameras are a standard for hosts to have on their properties. During the guest's stay, we noticed 3 rules violation that were captured on our cameras: 1. They brought two undisclosed dogs without permission to avoid paying the pet fee. 2. Parked/drove on on front lawn as opposed to the 3 vehicle accessible concrete driveway. 3. The guest did not ask for a late check out and did not leave the property until over an hour past the the check out time. These violations were brought to the guest's attention through the VRBO messaging platform - they did not respond to any of the messages, with the exception of sending us a text message acknowledging their vehicle was parked on the grass and that they would move it after dinner. They made mention of a man trying to get into the house, we scrubbed all footage after they left, and the only man that was not part of there group that approached the house was a Post Mates/Uber Eats delivery man, which they opened the door for and received their order. Regarding their comment of 2 gun shooting incidents in the neighborhood, we spoke to our neighbors and they said they were unaware of anything. Additionally there were no posts on the Ring community alerts reporting such incidents. Please note, that this guest did not communicate any issues that were mentioned in the review to us during their stay. We understand that not every situation can be resolved, but we will always put in a 5-star effort to accommodate and enhance a guest's stay. To all future prospective guests, we encourage you to message us if you need additional clarity with respect to this review or have any concerns prior to booking with us. Warmest regards, -Anthony
