Recent stay was great. Visited the area to attend the horse races at Colonial Downs with my dad and brother. Pamela was wonderful - responsive, accommodating, and flexible. Place was very clean. Would stay here again.
We had a great experience for our annual golf weekend. This property is gorgeous and met all our needs. Pamela was a great host and always ensured we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this property for a group stay and for weddings. Thanks for your hospitality Pamela!!

Thank you!!!! What a perfect group. You took care of the place, it was clean and neat. Super friendly and respectful. I couldn't ask for more.
My daughter was married 10 mins down the road at Antebellum. Her and her bridal party all stayed here. My girlfriends feel this is also a perfect place for a girls weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful. This place is Gorgeous!
We booked all three houses for a ladies' retreat and could not have asked for a more perfect site. All the houses were pristinely clean and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. There was ample everything. Added bonuses were the large rolling cart and the huge washer and dryers. Pam answered my questions quickly and was wonderful to work with. We couldn't have been more pleased and plan to book again in the future. Thank you so much!
It was aesthetically pleasing & a great location for us. The host was very responsive & pleasant. Some of the aesthetics weren’t practical for our stay. The Edison bulbs in the bathroom were insufficient lighting to do makeup. The main bathroom needs a bath mat, otherwise you step out on slick tile. A luggage rack would be helpful in the front bedroom. As this is a historical property, regular pest control & dusting behind & underneath furniture is a necessity. We unknowingly were also sharing the cottage with Charlotte & her extended arachnid family. Again, the host was very responsive & took immediate action to mitigate the insect invasion so we would happily stay here again (upon confirmation of Charlotte & Co.’s eviction).

About the host
Hosted by Pamela C. Radwani
My family has lived in New Kent County for 8 generations. I worked at VCU/MCV Campus for 33 years, it's good to be home. My passion is history, historic photography, black water braille diving and time with my family.
Why they chose this property
New Kent is rich in history. It's beautiful and quiet which are very important to me. People are nice and we are a tight community. I enjoy the country life, but being only a short distance from Richmond or Williamsburg when I want to shop, dine or enjoy a movie. I have the best of both worlds.
What makes this property unique
A historic property, newly renovated adding all of the modern conveniences.
