Large home great for family gatherings. Beautiful views overlooking the Cedar River. Open floor plan with vaulted great room and floor to ceiling windows for an amazing view. Wrap around deck to enjoy the coffee in the morning or watch the sunset. Each king bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Plenty of room for everyone. In-ground heated pool and game room to keep everyone busy. Kayaks and bikes are on property and available for renters to use. This is a residential property, so events or ceremonies such as bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, graduations, etc. are strictly prohibited.

Family Reunion

It was a wonderful experience. The house is amazing and provides for every need and want. We had 13 family members from 8 years of age up to retirement and it was comfortable for all. We all loved the pool, the game room and spacious living areas, as well as having plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. It was perfect for our family reunion.

Beautiful home on Cedar Lake

Beautiful property! Spacious and well designed home, no short cuts at this property. Well supplied with fun for everyone. The pool was warm and the green space worked perfect for games. This is a nice area for a morning jog or bike ride and golf is near by.

Absolutely amazing housr

The house accommodated my family of 17 family members needs. Location was great. Beautiful with so many amenities, so clean, and organized. Owner was helpful during an onset snowstorm where power went out for short time. Will definitely stay here again when needed for visits to Charles City. Very kid friendly!

BEAUTIFUL SMALL TOWN LIVING

Beautiful home and amenities. Communication with the owners was great! We even forgot a game and they are mailing it back to us. The house is amazing with so much to do. If you aren't in the water at the pool or out on the water on the lake, there is plenty to do at the house and plenty of space to do it. We used this as more of a Staycation since some of my family had newborns. It was a great get together and the House provided plenty of space for all of us.

We loved the house, the setup of bedrooms, and the game room. It was perfect for our group of 14. The house was well stocked, and any questions we had were answered immediately. I would strongly recommend this property.

This is a perfect family vacation destination. Home has many activities and heated pool is perfect for all ages. The house has bedrooms with bathrooms attached to each. We would recommend the home to any family looking for many activities and outdoor pool to relax at.

We had a great time together for our family weekend. The house is such an amazing place. The pool was a highlight! A great space for all the ages in our group. Very well stocked with everything you would need for a fun getaway!!

Perfection!

It was the best property we have ever stayed in! With 10 adults and 5 children there was plenty of room and privacy. Lots of adult and teenage games plus games and books for the 3 year old! Spacious yard and beautiful pool. I hope to go back.

70th Birthday Celebration

Gathered the family for Uma’s 70th birthday celebration. Great house, lots of space, fantastic amenities, beautiful pool, well stocked kitchen. Kayaked the river. The sunrise was only exceeded by the sunset views. We all definitely want to return in summer.

Couples Weekend

We had a group of six couples for our annual couples retreat weekend. The house is BEAUTIFUL! So much space for us to be together and not feel crowded. The big dining room table was a plus! And the pool was perfect for the extra hot September weekend. The owner was so easy to communicate with for any needs or questions that came up. We were all so, so impressed!

Family vacation

This property was amazing. The pictures didn't do it justice. The owners were very helpful and got back to us quickly with any questions, even before our trip started. We had some rain and cooler temps, but that was ok as the pool is heated and there were plenty of activities inside. The beds were comfortable, the house well equipped with anything you might need. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful time with family (ages ranging from 11-80) at this gorgeous house! The pool was amazing and having turf right by it for yard games was great too. The house was clean and furnished beautifully The only con was that there is no access to the lake due to the steep hill. And even if you launch your boat, the lake is very shallow. Overall, a fabulous place to vacation!

Amazing Family Retreat

We booked a group of 12 to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and this home was perfect for all ages. Great kitchen with large dining table, nice screened in patio area. Plenty of plates, glasses and pots and pans. Had backup propane ready for the large grill. Pool is heated and covered with plenty of lounge chairs and floats available. Basement was great, we got lots of use out of the skee ball and pool table. Really appreciated the use of kayaks and suggested routes. We had a great afternoon out on the water. Entire home is very clean and was great to have individual bathrooms for each bedroom. Also very quiet between the rooms. Would highly recommend.
