As the sun sets, gather around the bonfire, taking in the glittering night lights. This secluded niche is accessible and pet-friendly, making it perfect for seniors and guests with disability.
The space
Perched on the hill in half an acre of gated property with plenty of open space, you will feel calm and comfy, away from the maddening crowd. From the side garden, you can watch lake and horse races (when in season).
Mopping and cleaning will be done every alternate day.
Living Area:
Feel at home from the time you walk through the driveway to the cottage flanked with neat little garden with a manicured lawn. Enjoy the welcoming warmth of Buddha themed living room dominated by a large bay window. Blow away your stress watching the clouds passing above at the bay window or curl up in cozy comfort watching TV/ with a book, from the well stacked bookshelves. Alternatively enjoy with your friends and party watching mists pass by. Please do not play loud music after 10 PM.
Kitchen:
Cook your meals in the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, mixie, pressure cooker, cooking vessels and cutlery.

Bedroom - 1:
The warmth of wooden floor and smile of Mona Lisa welcomes you. Relax on the queen bed after roaming in the rose/ botanical garden. There is ample space to store your luggage. Well-appointed wardrobe has clothes hangers and drawers to stow your clothes. A working table against the window overlooks the garden, write your travel log or story or just enjoy your coffee watching the chirping birds. Aqua Guard filtered drinking water and Kettle for hot water are available.
Bathroom -1:
Sleek shower panel with hand shower, mixer taps, 5 different sprouts and shower head offers a relaxing bath. Geyser is available for hot water. A pressure pump ensures massage like bath, but it also means hot water can run out fast, please factor this when there are others to bathe. Towels, shampoo and soaps are complementary.

Bedroom - 2:
The warmth of wooden floor welcomes you. Relax on the queen bed after your tryst with wildlife in Mudhumali or Bandhipur. Aqua Guard filtered drinking water and Kettle for hot water are available.
Bathroom -2:
Bathroom fittings and accessories are same as bathroom 1. This bathroom is disabled and senior citizen friendly with handrail and hand shower. Bathroom is a step down and soon a ramp will be in place.

Bedroom - 3:
Painting of a lady on the fireplace welcomes you. Relax on the double bed after day of combing Ooty town. Aqua Guard filtered drinking water and Kettle for hot water are available. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are interconnected with shared bathroom. Room heaters are available.
Guest access
Enter the house through the Verandah where you enjoy the sun rise on the garden chair overlooking the garden. Bay window offers the view of racecourse, lake and Ooty town.
There is ample parking space

Other things to note
Be prepared as the approach road from YWCA is narrow, as it will be in any hill station. It is a kilometer away from the Racecourse, bus stand, railway station and center of Ooty Town.

Ooty can be cold, hence be prepared. We provide hot water bottles, room heaters and additional blankets.
