Step inside this piece of Port Huron's history, and enjoy your home away from home! This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for up to 6 people and 2 of your furry friends. The first bedroom on the main floor includes a queen bed, while the second bedroom on the main floor has a twin trundle that can expand for use as two twins or fully pop up to create roughly a King Size bed. Tell us your preference, and we will prepare it for you! On the second floor, the primary bedroom has a queen bed and attached full bath. Along with a fully stocked kitchen, enjoy the living and dining rooms decorated to reflect the home's unique history. Check out the large basement for an area to play games or get some laundry done during your stay. This Folk Victorian maintains all of the charm of a historic home with modern amenities and conveniences. After a day exploring, return to your dwelling for a bbq or cocktail in the private backyard, have a game night in the basement, or just kick back to enjoy the top of the line comforts this home has to offer. The area is bike friendly and the neighborhood is walkable. It is centrally located for your maximum enjoyment of all the Blue Water area has to offer. With downtown Port Huron only 2 miles away, hop in your car (or on a bike!) for a variety of local restaurants and dining experiences. It is also one of the few neighborhood in the area that is within food app delivery zones for quick bites. While it's a fantastic place to be in the summer, please consider this home for year round trips! Coming in for the holidays? My husband John and I are locals from Port Huron! We live with our two corgis nearby, and we love getting the chance to host visitors from all over as they explore the Blue Water area.

Only a 3 minute walk to Fort Gratiot Lighthouse and Lighthouse Park & Beach, you can walk right over to enjoy the pristine beach, the park - complete with jungle gym, bbq grills, and bathhouse, and the ever-gorgeous Lake Huron. Bring your kayaks / paddleboards and blowup rafts for even more fun on the water! If sunbathing isn't your thing, check out the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse historic buildings and climb the Lighthouse yourself! The house is also within a few blocks of Palmer Park which boasts additional children's play areas for all ages as well as basketball courts for community use. The Lighthouse Park neighborhood is also home to The Electric Coffee Co where you can grab your morning jolt to kick off your day. The area is bike friendly and is only a few minutes from the Thomas Edison Parkway Boardwalk where on a sunny afternoon, the 1-mile long riverwalk will be full of people fishing, running, roller blading, scuba diving, picnicking, and taking pictures with the breath-taking view of the Bluewater Bridge in the background as freighters pass. Downtown Port Huron is just two miles away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, boating, and much more!
