When you’re not out exploring the beautiful scenery, or checking out the Village/ College, at the house you can expect fast WiFi, bookshelves filled with various titles perfect for taking outside onto the back porch. From the porch your view is of the peaceful fenced in backyard perfect for a BBQ or bonfire. A vegetable and flower garden just asking to be explored and walked through Did we mention the screened in porch faces the sunrise? This guarantees your morning coffee just tastes better. The house has plenty of room for the whole family, bring the grandparents! The best part of this location is the walking access to everything! Park the car and forget it! Steps away from restaurants, bars, a coffee shop, and all your grocery shopping needs (0.3 miles away) ; The Village Inn, Kenyon Inn Restaurant, The Deli, Wiggins Coffee, and The Village Market! Take a walk around Kenyon College campus (0.4 Miles away), or head over to the Kokosing Gap Trail (0.7 miles away) either way you’ll be serenaded by a chorus of song birds that call the Gambier hill home. I highly recommend a visit to the 500 acre nature preserve at the Brown Family Environmental Center for some beautiful views and great hiking trails (1.0 mile away). If you find you’re in need of some additional shopping/ excursion needs, the charming public square of Mount Vernon (5.5 Miles away) is full of boutique shops and breweries! Mount Vernon has plenty of dining options; I personally recommend the Alcove Restaurant, Bombay Garden, Happy Street Brewery, and Baxters Wine and Whiskey. Of course there is always Walmart, and Kroger (4.8 Miles away) as well!
