The Gray Goose could not have been any better! The perfect place for a family get together! The host thought of everything. The kitchen had everything you would need and then some, the bedrooms were quite spacious and comfortable, the living room and dining rooms were perfect, as were the outside area and fire pit! My family had a great experience and all said they would love to come back!

This was an absolutely lovely property. The photos on the site don't do the property justice. Everyone who stayed enjoyed having such a lovely place to relax after each day of non stop theater. Everyone loved just how close it is to the heart of Mt. Vernon. Would book again if the need arises.

My extended family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, location is perfect, and the host is friendly and responsive. The house is stocked with so many special surprises and amenities. If I ever choose to have a VRBO property, this is the benchmark of perfect!

Beautiful, clean home with well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. A heads up to future guests - the dining room table and benches are immovable and may be difficult for some people to use.

Fabulous Stay!

We were in town for my son's wedding. We couldn't have had a better place to stay, my husband, my parents, my son and daughter. Everything we needed was at the home and very well thought out! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! My father grew up in Mt Vernon, went to Mt Vernon HS and really had fun coming back!

Our daughter will be attending Kenyon as a freshman beginning next fall and this is the perfect place to stay. The cottage is amazingly well-maintained. Everything is first-class. Book it!

Rarely do I stay at a place where the property is better in person. Grey Goose Cottage did not disappoint. Very clean, very comfortable and very spacious. Extra touches like a stocked coffee bar, board games, high end appliances and wireless chargers on all nightstands just added to the quality of our stay. The llamas next door were a plus!
