About this property

Coveted creekside setting, near downtown and Bogert Park.

Bozeman Creek House is a creekside oasis just 3 blocks from downtown Bozeman, with no bedrooms on the main floor. Moved in the early '90s, it had minimal outdoor exposure before Jacquie Love remodeled it in 2010, adding windows, porches, and gardens. Jacquie lives in a separate addition with alley access and is often away, allowing guests privacy while being available for questions if needed. The house accommodates up to 8, with rates adjusted based on group size.

Nearby Bogert Park features trails, a swimming pool, and courts, making it ideal for outdoor activities. It's a quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful gardens and a fire pit by the creek. The owner has a separate entrance, ensuring tranquility.

Enter through a cozy porch to find a bright interior with wood floors, large windows, and thoughtful furnishings. The kitchen is perfect for cooking while socializing, and the east-facing deck provides outdoor dining opportunities with a gas heater for chilly evenings. An upstairs primary bedroom boasts a king bed, walk-in closet, and reading nook, with a remodeled bathroom offering a unique rooftop view. The queen bedroom features a mural and a workout space with gym equipment.

Downstairs includes a cozy game room with a foosball table, Murphy bed, TV, darts, and a collection of books. There’s another bedroom with a full bed and en suite bathroom. The house comes with essentials like coffee supplies, linens, and local tips for exploring Montana. The house is beautiful and the setting - very peaceful with the sounds of the creek. Location by the park allowed us to easily host a picnic in the park for more family members. The kitchen is well equipped and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely come back!

Relaxing creekside setting close to downtown

We really enjoyed our visit. The house and grounds were very beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and listening to the creek. It was any easy walk to the downtown Main street area in Bozeman.

Worthy of 6 Stars

The property exceeded our expectations in terms of location, decor, attention to detail, cleanliness, and full stock. We travel frequently and enjoy finer hotels. I was nervous taking the VRBO route for this trip, as they are usually overpromised. Not this property it over-delivered. We did not want to leave! The owner of property truly created a gem. Thank you

Nicest rental in Bozeman

Can’t say enough good things about this property. Way over our expectations in just about everything. Best location, roomy, beautifully appointed, in other words perfect. The property manager very nice and accommodating. Loved it. Ned

Beautiful

This has to be one of the most beautiful properties in all of Bozeman! My husband is from MT and my son goes to MSU as does his cousin so we had some of the kids over for a BBQ and family and the space could not have been anymore perfect! My only worry is a family member trying to get it when I want it now!!! I was 100% aware of the owners apartment, it said it in the listing, they emailed me to inform me as well and it wasn’t a problem at all. I don’t even know if they were home. Definitely don’t let that dissuade you!!!

About the host

I work in medicine but also own a permaculture educational farm just north of Bozeman.

Why they chose this property

I like to be able to walk out the door and sit by Bridger Creek, along the trails that border this subdivision. Plus I can ride my bike to town or to the local swimming beach. I don't golf but there is a great course right across the street.

I was able to buy this townhouse and finish it just how I have always wanted. It's built to last and equipped with top of the line appliances and furnishings. It has radiant floor heat which is the only way to go in Montana winters, plus it is well insulated and has high ceilings with great light.

What makes this property unique

Fantastic house and yard, 3 blocks from Main St, and right next to Bozeman Creek, at the end of the street. Keyless entry. Air Conditioning.
