About this property
Seaside House, a Peaceful 2 Bedroom Retreat in walking distance to Kehena Beach
Peaceful and private modern 2 bedroom home in prime location between Kehena Black Sand Beach (.4 mile walk) and nearby thermal ponds at Pohoiki just a few miles down the picturesque, coastal "Red Road." Enjoy a comfortable and clean space surrounded by a lush tropical landscape. Hear the sound of crashing waves from within the stylish interior or outside on the spacious lanai. This creative, vibrant area hosts a large drum circle on Sunday evenings as well as local music and food down the road at Uncle Roberts.
The entire upstairs 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is yours to enjoy! The bedrooms are located on separate sides of the house, offering greater privacy - each has a queen sized bed. There is a large living room, bathroom with shower and soaking tub, and open style kitchen with island dining area, oven and range and a large lanai with garden view. To accommodate parties up to 6 guests, a queen air mattress and/or twin foam mattress are available.
Laundry is complimentary during your stay. The laundry area is a shared space with the garden level unit and located under the house through the main level barn doors.
There are two parking spaces. You will park in the "Seaside" space, labeled with a painted sign, to the left after you drive in. It is highly recommended you rent a car during your stay, as things are spread out on Big Island.

Why they chose this property
If you've ever read, "The Big Orange Splot" by Daniel Pinkwater, this neighborhood is kinda like that! Eclectic, eccentric, quirky, unique with street side home grown fruit and baked good stands.
What makes this property unique
You can hear the sound of the ocean. Newly renovated.
