Family Gathering

Eight family members (11 months to 84 years) drove in from several directions--Michigan, Vermont, and NYC. it rained a lot, but there were no complaints. We played, ate, napped, played, chatted, got caught up, and then did it all over again. The house was the perfect setting--lots of room, a beautiful setting, even a few wonderful toys for the kids. We each give it a thousand thumbs up.

There are endless trails to explore; each month brings festivals and family-friendly outings. I enjoy discovering new ways to gather with friends around snacks and look forward to live music, theater, and creative inspiration around me.

The Plum Bush House is centered in the ideal location. Picturesque countryside with surrounding farmlands, just minutes from cultural center Chautauqua Institution, a short ride to the lake to launch a boat. The Overland Trail is nearby for hiking and biking. Cozy cups of coffee can be enjoyed down the road at Stedman's, wine and cheese can enamor at local wineries, active nightlight scene in both Mayvile and Bemus locations are within less than five minutes. It's gorgeous, safe and a retreat from the busy life.
