Whether visiting the St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, Island shops, eateries, fishing pier or just splashing in the surf and searching for seashells, Dolphin Sunrise puts the best of the Forgotten Coast within easy reach! Across the bridge are Eastpoint's craft breweries and seafood markets and the happening shopping, restaurants, and art scene of historic Apalachicola are just 30 minutes by car!

EXTERIOR AMENITIES
Exterior amenities of this home include under-house concrete parking with a covered entry. An exterior staircase on the Gulf side takes you from the beach to the first and second floor furnished decks. Dive into the sparkling heated community pool or spend the afternoon on the pickleball, basketball or tennis court. Then enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower at the end of your day and prepare your fresh catch at the fish cleaning area and enjoy our double park-style grill.

The first floor of this tastefully appointed coastal home offers the SE king master bedroom with smart TV, private bathroom large walk-in shower, double vanity and jetted tub with a wonderful view. This room enjoys direct access to the Beachfront covered deck and the bayside screen porch. The SW king bedroom has a smart TV and direct access to the covered beachfront deck. The NW king bedroom has a smart TV and direct access to the Bayview screened porch. There is a full shared bathroom and laundry area with washer/dryer on this floor.

The second floor is the gathering place. With a bright and open floor plan and a wall of windows, you will feel like you are right on the beach. Beautiful wood floors and comfortable, attractive seating make this a perfect place to gather.

The dining table seats 10 for a wonderful family meal, the breakfast bar seats 4 and double French doors lead you to the Gulf view porch with chaise lounges and a table for al fresco dining.

The well equipped kitchen boasts expansive counter space and a beautiful view for the chef in your party. A covered porch is just off the kitchen with a dining table that is perfect for your morning bayside coffee.

The NW king master bedroom offers a smart TV and full private bathroom. Sliding glass doors lead you to the covered bayside porch from this room. A convenient half bathroom is provided on this floor.

The third floor features the South king bedroom with a smart TV, a sitting area and direct access to the private furnished beachfront deck, which is perfect for stargazing.

Home includes YouTube TV.

The North trundle bedroom sleeps 2 in twin beds with a smart TV. A shared bathroom with a glass shower is also on this floor.

We loved this house and our low-key, beautiful beach!! The kitchen was very well-stocked and the house was clean and well-kept. Easy and prompt communication with the property and safe community with great pool and pickleball courts which our kiddos loved. Highly recommend.

Great Time at Dolphin Sunrise

Reviewer Comments: For each of the 7 years going to St George Island, our family of 9 adults and 5 children have stayed in a different home, but Dolphin Sunrise is a place we will return to. Our favorite was the beach with its beauty; it was close to the end of the island and was quite clean with lots of space. The sunrises were spectacular! The spacious kitchen was well equipped with everything needed and quite clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable as well. There were 2 sets of bedrooms without connecting bathrooms, but the placement of those bathrooms in the hallway worked well for sharing. The well-manicured neighborhood provided a tennis and pickleball court which was fun for our boys. It also had a heated swimming pool that WAS heated! We had a great time making wonderful memories at Dolphin Sunrise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely amazing house in a well maintained gated community that was well described in the listing! Beach was not crowded at all and not a surprise given that this house is at the end of the island by the state park. The house has a bucketful of pluses: elevator, gorgeous views on the gulf and bay side (easy to see sunsets), beautiful and modern furnishings and decorations, all around comfortable, porches were terrific and always in use, roomy kitchen with all the amenities, well maintained (except for a few minor inconveniences) and clean! The starter supplies were a very nice touch to begin the week and the credit for rental gear was a great bonus. The nice welcome gifts were a happy surprise! Management company was extremely easy to work with from initial house hunt all the way to check out. Would stay here again if in this area.

Reviewer Comments: As a grandmother bringing her family to St George's Island for our first visit, I can testify that our experience at Dolphin Sunrise exceeded all of our expectations! The location, layout, cleanliness perfectly fit the needs of our family. And the decor put a smile on my face every morning! We loved the big dining table with terrific views of the water, playing pickle ball and games only steps away from our front door, and riding our bikes (or walking) to the pool. Unfortunately the pool was closed one day without explanation, which interrupted our daily routine, but more fun was had that day at the beach. We did alot of wave jumping and boogie boarding! We enjoyed all of our meals at home as the kitchen had all we needed. One afternoon I treated the grandchildren to The Art of Glass activity, so they all had a souvenir to take home to remind them of the best trip ever!! Our one disappointment is we did not see any dolphins, so I guess that means we have to return!😉 Oh, and yes, I enjoyed all my conversations with McKenzie(GCVP) when I had a question! Thank you to the owners and GCVP who allowed our family to visit and receive such a huge blessing.❤️

Reviewer Comments: This has been an outstanding stay; with the exception that Dolphin Sunrises' house phone Hàs not worked Since the massive winter wind storm several weeks ago. The Consolidated phone company has not kept several promises to come to the house and make the repairs. We generally use our cellular phones; but two of our six children prefer to call us on our household phone both at home in Illinois and here in Florida. I've also given the house phone number of Dolphin Sunrise as the preferred number for several of my business contacts to call. Back home, the local phone company makes needed repairs within two days or less. We feel sorry for residents of this area who have to depend on Consolidated phone company to take forever to respond to requests for phone Line repairs.
