About this property
Villa Artemis - Luxurious Villa located in Temecula's Wine Valley
Villa Άρτεμις is a luxurious villa located in Temecula's Wine Valley, with picturesque views of rolling hills & vineyards. Re-imagined in 2023 with a focus on incorporating natural and organic materials, fragrant gardens, and culminating in an overall blissful space that bridges nature with luxury. The villa is located within 10 minutes of many of the region's award-winning wineries, equestrian activities, hot air ballooning, golfing, hiking and more.
Perched high above Temecula's Wine Valley with views of the vineyards and Temescal mountains, Villa Άρτεμις is a masterpiece of elegant indoor-outdoor living. Designed to meld various cultures including Mediterranean, Tuscan and Neoclassical/Modern, Villa Άρτεμις enjoys sweeping views of rolling hills, vineyards, the iconic Temecula Valley hot air balloons, gorgeous sunsets and starry nights.
Nature is central to the design of the Villa; a cool French-Gray pebble lined pool and jacuzzi reflect the sky; fragrant gardens and permaculture food forests sooth the senses; and the selection of natural and organic materials reinforce a connection to the ancient landscape.
The ultimate private retreat, the Villa is situated on 5 acres of land and accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, including a 580 SQ foot master suite with central fireplace, walk in closet and ultra luxurious bathroom with an oversized Roman-inspired bath, large shower and dual vanity. The master suite opens up to the terrace, garden, pool and spa. The pool and spa are available all year round, heating is available for a fee which varies by the time of year, please inquire for pricing if interested.
The space beckons of a time gone by; its character and style borrowed from both ancient and modern cultures as its name suggests; which is borrowed from the Ephesian Artemis - the Roman and Greek's classical goddess of fertility and nature.
The Villa is located within 10 minutes to many of the region's award winning vineyards and wineries, including Leoness Cellars, Avensole, Fazelli, Doffo, Wilson Creek, Altissima and many more. There are nearly 50 wineries, over a dozen breweries, two meaderies, and two distilleries – all with spectacular tasting rooms. But wine is only the beginning. Additional things to do in Temecula Valley include award-winning dining, equestrian activities, hot air ballooning, golfing, bicycling, hiking, exotic animals, swimming and sunbathing, casino & gaming, spa treatments, shopping, live music, special events, and much more.
A trip isn’t complete without a stroll through Old Town Temecula, the historical hub of Temecula Valley. This charming, walkable district includes popular restaurants, charming shops, beer, and wine tasting rooms, museums, speakeasies, outdoor art, a performance theater, and a vibrant nightlife.
Discover why Wine Enthusiast magazine named Temecula Wine Country a 2019 “Top 10 Wine Travel Destination” in the world and TripAdvisor’s “Must-See U.S. Destination in 2020.”
Guests enjoy exclusive use to the entire Villa, and over 2.5 Acres of land that includes the gardens, pool, BBQ/cabana, and vegetable forest. A lower pad that is connected via steps, includes an Animal Barn (Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and various breeds of chickens), Bee Hives, as well as a Food Forest planted in the discipline of Permaculture. The lower pad is available for guests to visit and enjoy during daylight hours in coordination with the property manager who resides on this lower lot and tends to the Food Forest and animals.
Villa Artemis has been renovated to provide the ultimate luxury retreat, for couples or families. This is not a "party" house. We ask that you please respect our neighbors and environment. Please note that the last approximately 400 feet leading to the villa are on a dirt road. The villa operates on eco-friendly electric systems, which may result in slightly longer heating times and water temperatures that are warm but not as hot as those powered by natural gas. The state-of-the-art induction cooking range offers rapid heating and enhanced safety, with all necessary induction-compatible cookware provided for your convenience.
The home is a true oasis, boasting natural porcelain floors that offer a sleek and modern feel, while the natural stone accents provide a touch of rustic charm. You'll love the calming vibe created by the organic lime paint on the walls, whose textured natural earthen mineral pigments refract light in a unique way creating a natural luminescence with soft tonal variations adding depth, texture and a velvety suede like effect. Relax and unwind in the luxurious environment created by these stunning features. You'll feel right at home with all of the amenities you need, including comfortable furnishings state-of-the-art appliances and chef's kitchen, home theater and surround sound systems, and turnkey outdoor spaces including pool lounge areas as well as a BBQ station with TV and bar / island.
We advise all our guests to remember that with all the beautiful bounties that come with living with and in nature, comes respect and caution. Coyotes, snakes and other potentially dangerous animals are common. You will likely encounter hares, dozens of quail that live on our property, bees, and if you visit our Animal Barn you will get to meet our beautiful Nigerian Dwarf Goats and numerous breeds of beautiful chickens. Please do not disturb the bees / beehives, our honey bees are hard at work and we depend on them for our farms, food and flowers. Please exercise common sense in safety at all times, and be careful not to disturb nature.

We are a fun loving family who love to live life to the fullest and enjoy the blessings that we have - primarily our 2 boys (now aged 10 and 8). We aspire to teach them to love and respect nature and all living creatures and to strive for a harmonious coexistence with the natural world. We also believe in sustainable agriculture, particularly through the principles of permaculture and organic farming.
With this property, we are pursuing our dream vision of creating a small farm that is dedicated to the mission of creating a well-balanced eco-system and rich soils that produce nutrient-dense foods while treating the environment and the animals with respect. The residence that is Villa Artemis has also been constructed and finished with a focus on luxury. The home is a true oasis with all of the amenities you need, including comfortable furnishings state-of-the-art appliances and chef's kitchen, home theater and surround sound systems, and turnkey outdoor spaces including pool lounge areas as well as a BBQ station with TV and bar / island.
