Great little place to stay for a PSU football weekend. The room was clean and comfortable with a lot of little extras. Very easy to get to and from State College. The Brew Coffee shop is a short walk and had great breakfast items and coffee.

Short Stay

Came in for a College and game day. It was the perfect place for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice that small things were provided (towls, k cups, etc.) The vinyl door that is used for the bathroom was loud opening/closing, but not a deal breaker.

Quaint, quiet, comfortable apartment about 25 mins from State College. Easy drive to and from. Town is a bit sleepy, but easy drive to Altoona for restaurants and shopping. Good communication by Harry and Lisa.

We would like guests to have the opportunity to stay at a comfortable place in Central Pa for business trips, football games, baseball games, concerts, other sports, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, amusement and water park, and many other outdoor adventures Central Pa has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Tyrone is a town with beautiful mountains in the back ground. They hold many events throughout the year for the public to enjoy. Tyrone is also home to the famous Gardeners Candy and is best known for its Original Peanut Butter Meltaway Candy. Gardeners Candy have 10 retail stores in Pennsylvania and one of them is just minutes walking distance from the efficiency apartment with an ice cream parlor that has a large menu to choose from. The efficiency apartment is also just minutes from I-99 and is located between State College and Altoona Pa., making it convenient to Penn State University, DelGrosso's Amusement Park and Laguna Splash Water Park, the Horseshoe Curve and many other places.
