Wonderful Experience
Very secluded retreat in the forest. The cabin was rustic but had all the amenities we needed. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying the peace and quiet. Used the outdoor fire pit which was a nice feature. The birds kept us entertained. We would stay here again if we return to the area.

Mr
We loved the place, everything was beautiful. This is the first time we stayed in a cabin outside the urban life although not deep in the woods it was nice enough for our first trip. Me and my family spent a wonderful weekend at twin chimneys. The kids loved the surroundings of the cabin we brought our two Jack Russell’s and couldn’t ask for more than the cabin has to offer it’s got everything from linens to dishes and utensils, the puppies couldn’t be happier with the little ckeek that was a plus for everyone… thanks to John everything went smooth and we are definitely going back in the future.

Peaceful getaway!
This cabin was perfect! It was so clean, and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The quiet area was very enjoyable and loved hiking the property and walking by the creek. We would stay again, thank you for opening your home so others can enjoy its beauty.

Love This Place
It is a wonderful updated log cabin deep in the countryside on a tree farm. It is peaceful and quiet. We took many long walks crossing back and forth across the stream that runs in front of cabin. It is the kind of place where you want to bring in food and whatever you need so that you won't have to leave for anything. Can't wait to return.

Hello, I'm John, and I want to extend a warm welcome to our cabin, Two Chimneys. This cabin holds a special place in our hearts, as it was lovingly remodeled by my parents, Anne & Hans, back in 2000.

Our family's connection to this place runs deep. Two Chimneys is part of Maplegate Farm, a space that has been a part of our family for generations. My mother, Anne, spent significant time here during World War II. The farm held a comforting embrace during those challenging times. Anne and her brother also started a tree farming operation on Maplegate Farm, a venture that brought them both joy and recognition.

The cabin's name comes from its two chimneys, which have witnessed the passage of time and the stories of our family. There's a rich history here, and we're honored to share it with you.

As you spend time in Two Chimneys, we ask that you treat it with the same care and respect that has been passed down through our family. This cabin isn't just a place to stay; it's a part of our heritage and a reminder of the simple joys in life.

Thank you for considering us for your stay. We're excited to have you here and hope your time at Two Chimneys is filled with tranquility and reflection.
