Good communication by property owners who quickly resolved an access concern. Location very convenient to shopping for supplies and to public transportation. Lots of room for our family’s stay.

Neighborhood felt safe. Close to red line metra stop. Easy trips to DC tourist stops. Lot of stairs to get to unit, no elevator option. Lot of stairs inside the unit. I wouldn’t recommend if taking stairs is an issue. Unit did not have sufficient towels or bedding. Took 24 hours of constant requests to get the property manager to respond and being towels and bedding. The AC in the upstairs did not work so it was hot up there. Place does not sleep 10 adults comfortably, we had little kids so it worked but 10 adults would not work in my opinion. Overall ok, but place not quite as advertised. And property manager was not super responsive.
Beautiful place! Great location for our needs. Great communication with the host. Highly recommended. There were only 4 of us and it was a short stay, but was perfect! Plenty of space. The “kids” (young adults) were able to have their own room. Bathroom for each bedroom and a half bath downstairs. One thing to keep in mind if considering: access is all stairs. This is a 4th floor unit (no elevator) and there are stairs in the unit as well to get to the 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms. Not a negative from our perspective; but worthwhile keeping in mind.
Beautiful place. Rooftop seating is very private and has nice views. Neighborhood had a lot of great food options. Aged CVS and really nice organic grocery store are within a few blocks - quick walk. Easy 25 min drive to downtown DC area. Unit parking is not obvious (as also stated by other reviews) - had to talk to locals to learn the 2 unit spots are across the street behind the green-teal house. The 2 spots do have signs saying they are reserved for the rental address. The 2 spots are for all rental units in the building (8 units?) and are first come first served. Street parking is available overnight until 7a. Then signs say 2 hr parking only 7a-8:30p. The locals said if you park on the street they rarely ticket during the summer and said we should be ok. They did recommend moving your car if you want to park for longer durations on the street.
Stayed this past weekend for a football game at Catholic University. The location was close to the fields, so that was a bonus. Getting there from the airport wasn’t difficult either. Parking was not ideal. There supposedly two first come first serve parking spots behind a teal house, but good luck finding those spots. Street parking is limited as you have to have a zone 5 pass. Since parking was difficult, we didn’t drive down to site see and instead Ubered because we didn’t want the hassle of not finding parking. We did have a leak in one of the showers and called maintenance. The did show up within 30 minutes to try and fix the problem, but it couldn’t be fixed. They had to close down that bathroom until they could get the part to fix it. The neighbors around the unit were very nice. The only other downfall is there is no elevator, so you have to walk up four flights up stairs. Overall the place was nice.
