Hideout Heights sits on 2.5 private acres of old Florida riverfront. It's a place where you can fish from your own dock, paddle a kayak into the cypress backwater at sunrise, and watch deer from the screened porch at dusk.
The large dock accommodates boats up to 40+ feet, and four kayaks with gear are yours to use on and off the property.
Inside, a fully equipped kitchen, espresso bar, and leather living room make the indoors just as inviting as the beautiful outside.
THE DOCK & WATERFRONT
The private dock is the heart of the property. It's large, features a floating dock, and can accommodate boats up to 40+ feet. Boat trailer parking is available on-site. Tie up your boat, cast a line from the dock, or just sit and watch the river move. This is the real Florida that most visitors never find.
KAYAKS & EXPLORATION
Four kayaks with paddles and life vests are available for guest use and can be taken off the property. (Explore rainbow river and surrounding springs without having to pay for rental stuff)
The rivers, backwaters, and spring systems in this area are world-class. Crystal River is just a short drive away and offers manatee encounters, scalloping, freshwater diving, and some of the most beautiful spring water in the state. Paddle out at sunrise and you'll understand why people fall in love with this part of Florida.
THE HOME — 3 BEDROOMS, 2 BATHROOMS
The house is comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully stocked. Everything you need is here.
Master Bedroom — Spacious with a king bed, large walk-in closet, and a private en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, separate toilet area, and his-and-her sinks.
Second Bedroom — Generous in size with a king bed, closet, and access to a full bathroom.
Third Bedroom — A cozy and flexible space with a twin trundle setup that sleeps two. Perfect for kids, a smaller group, or use as a private workspace. Shares a bathroom with the second bedroom.
Extra Sleeping — Two air beds and additional sheets and blankets are available for larger groups. This is a fishing and adventure kind of place, and adventures are better with friends. Reach out if you have questions about sleeping arrangements.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is genuinely well-stocked, not just a token effort. Expect spices, condiments, cooking oils, butter, flour, sugar, snacks, non-stick pans, sharp knives, and more.
GRILLING
The Weber Q gas grill on the porch handles fish, steaks, and anything else you want to throw on it.
COFFEE and OTHER STUFF
There's an espresso bar for your mornings and a bread maker if you're feeling ambitious. If you love to cook, you'll feel right at home.
SCREENED PORCH
The screened porch looks out over native Florida woods and is one of the best seats in the house. Watch the sun drop behind the cypress trees, keep an eye out for deer and wildlife, and enjoy a drink at the outdoor bar. It's the kind of porch that turns a one-week trip into a two-week trip.
OUTDOOR DECK & FIRE PIT
The large wooden deck off the back of the house is where evenings happen. The fire pit is the natural gathering point after a day on the water. Roast smores, crack a beer, or just enjoy the crackling fire with family.
LIVING ROOM
Large leather sofa, two leather recliners, and a wall-mounted HD smart TV on a swivel mount. Comfortable, unpretentious, exactly what you want after a day outdoors.
THE AREA
Inglis and the surrounding Nature Coast is one of Florida's great undiscovered stretches. Crystal River, just a short drive away, is famous for its manatee population, freshwater springs, scalloping season, and diving. The Withlacoochee River, Gulf access, and miles of undeveloped coastline and wilderness are all within easy reach. If you fish, paddle, dive, or just love wild places, you'll find more here than you can do in a single trip.
