If you want to walk downtown, this is the perfect location, close to everything. Ken was super responsive and so kind. the apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and nice. Beds are extremely comfortable!

Absolutely perfect!

My wife and I attended a wedding just down the road and this was a perfect alternative to a basic hotel. The place was unbelievably clean and well taken care of. Ken is a fantastic host with great recommendations as well. When we return, we will definitely be looking at his place to stay as a first priority!

Great Apartment in Perfect Location

We had a great stay. The apartment is clean and smartly decorated. Ken was fantastic with communication and check-in was smooth and easy. This is a great location in Dubuque. Walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, etc... Jubeck Brewing and Oolong Asian Cuisine are both right there. We recommend both places! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dubuque.

So clean and cozy. The beds and couch were so comfortable. Exactly what I needed for my relaxing get away! Close to restaurants and activities. I enjoyed the welcome brochure that also told you about the owner and his story. Didn’t get a chance to check out his restaurant! But will do so next time!

Nice apartment, very clean, comfortable beds, and a TV remote that actually worked! The Farmer's Market was in the neighborhood on Saturday morning, an unexpected treat. Ken was very helpful, great communication, and responsive to our questions.

Clean, great location, great host!

We were looking for a 2 bedroom place to stay the night before dropping our daughter off to college and this was the perfect place. Ken met us in the parking space to ensure everything was in order. The apartment was very clean, everything we needed. We even left our fully packed rooftop and car overnight and it was not bothered at all. We’ve already booked a similar property, same host for September!

Modern unit in historic downtown Dubuque

The owner did a great job refurbishing an old building in the heart of downtown Dubuque. The unit is comfortable and has all the necessities to cook a meal and have a good nights rest. There is a farmer's market on the street Saturday mornings and there are numerous shops, coffee houses and restaurants within walking distance. You can hear the train horns in the night which comes with the location.

This was the cleanest most organized place I have ever rented. From detailed instructions on how the tv/remote works to where extra supplies were if needed took away the guessing game that happens often. My son is looking to attend Loras College so I will definitely check availability here before booking elsewhere. Thank you.

A very unique property! It suited our needs perfectly! My own fault for not reading the entirety of the description- but there are 25 stairs - so caution to anyone with mobility issues. There is also a stair up into each of the bathrooms. I’m sure a quirk of an older building. Surprisingly quiet at night - even though both bedrooms face the street. There was a farmer’s market the Saturday morning we were there (we would hear people talking outside very early in the AM!) It was very easy to get around Dubuque from this location. Quite a few places to eat within walking distance also. AC worked great as well (it was extremely warm when we were there). I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to my family and friends. Thank you Ken!

I first worked in restaurants in Chicago before moving to Dubuque in 2000, where I worked at Hy-Vee as a cook and later became the Chinese department manager.
In 2003 I began investing in real estate, and in 2008 I left my job to focus on real estate full time. In 2018 I followed my passion for cooking and opened Oolong Asian Cuisine here in Dubuque.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of hosting thousands of guests from around the world and have received over 4,000 guest reviews across my properties. My goal is simple: provide clean, comfortable homes and make every stay easy and enjoyable.
