This was a great cozy place to spend the weekend. Relaxed and enjoyed the view. Played pool and darts with the hubby and watched Christmas movies. It was clean and plenty of space. Loved the wrap around porch. Will be back soon
This cabin was absolutely perfect! Easy to access, quiet, and with stunning views. The house was spotless (no bugs or spiderwebs!) and well-stocked with kitchen supplies. Instacart delivered groceries right to us, which was super convenient.Dog-friendly, with plenty of space for our pups to enjoy. We loved the basement—pool and darts made for great evenings after dinner. Beds were comfy, though I’d bring my own pillows next time. Small touches like good quality linens, paper towels, and toilet paper really stood out.Communication with property management was top-notch. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely be back!
View from back porch was amazing. A gated quiet neighborhood with no neighbors in sight and plenty of room and deer roaming thru back yard. A great place to get away.
We enjoyed this beautiful property. The kitchen was well equipped for meal prep. Very clean and spacious. We liked the game room downstairs and enjoyed playing pool and darts. Relaxing with beautiful views of the mountains.
We loved our stay at this property. We were looking for somewhere to chill and be totally disconnected from hustle and bustle of everyday life. We succeeded. Only suggestion we have would be to bring your favorite knife for kitchen work.

Thanks for your review, please come back to stay at the cabin again sometime.
The home is a very beautiful house. Unfortunately the property manager is not keeping up on this property. 60% of the back porch is rotted. My dogs Foot fell through the back porch. I have pictures to prove it. The ceiling fan In the living room does not work. It makes loud groaning noises. Not really used to Property managers sending the property details three days before you arrive gate code and code to get into the house. The property manager is rude and tried to insist that there was no fire stick in the house. The whole house has nothing but fire sticks in it sent pictures and then she kept trying to tell me I was wrong and there was Roku in the house you can only watch three streaming apps due to the locks on the fire sticks from the owner. She tries to tell me she has a lot on her plate with the four properties she manages. If I was the owner of this house, I would find a new property manager before I get sued for falling through a porch due to the property manager, not taking care of the property.

I am sorry this guest feels I was rude, that wasn't true. The guest was rude, he kept demanding the passcode for the owner's Amazon account so they could order movies. We can't give that information out, it would open the owners entire Amazon account to a person they don't know. That is unreasonable. The ceiling fan has been replaced and so has the wood on the deck, both part of regular maintenance. 60% of the deck was not rotted, I have photos of the few replaced boards, it wasn't as bad as guest made it out to be, nor did he ever mention anything about the fan or the board on the deck, just having a hissy fit because he wanted more TV than was offered. I never complained about how many cabins I have, I mentioned I managed 4 cabins and have never had a guest that demanded to passcode of an owner. This is just a very unhappy man, that couldn't be pleased. It's a shame, it is a beautiful cabin, a beautiful view, a beautiful part of the mountains. Most guests concentrate on those perks, not sitting in front of a TV.
Beautiful home, beautiful views we could not have asked for a better home to rent. Very spacious, super comfortable and very, very clean. We were in town for a family reunion and this home put the finishing touch on out wonderful weekend.
Love my stay here! This place is much bigger than it appears to be in the photos. My dog and I stayed here for a little getaway weekend and would totally come back. It's worth waking up early each day to watch the sunrise. While watching the sunrise, we had 4 deer visitors in the yard. Overall, beautiful property and a great place to stay. 10/10!
We really fell in love with the beautiful cabin! When you open the door you realize how clean and well maintained the cabin is! I would recommend this cabin to my friends and family.
Thank you again for everything!
Wonderful peace and quite . If a disconnect for the week is what your looking for this is the place. No WiFi and the cell Sevice is very limited . The cabin was as advertised and the views were wonderful .
The cabin was larger than it appeared in the photos...everything was clean and extremely nice. The property was secluded in a nice gated neighborhood. We had a wonderful time, and the property manager was easy to get ahold of. There’s no Wifi, but we didn’t really need it. We will be back!
A Beautiful home, clean, well stocked, easy to access in a gated community. One of the highlights for me was the daily visits of deer right outside the cabin. Cell service sketchy, no wifi, a perfect disconnect to help relax for a while.
We had a very relaxing stay at the cabin! Beautiful views and the cabin had everything we needed. Just as a note- there is no wifi and phone service is very weak/doesn't work sometimes. This made google maps slightly more difficult so plan accordingly! But overall we loved our stay and would love to come back
My husband and I took this long weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of the DC area. This was the perfect cabin. Although it rained the entire weekend, we had our time; played pool and learned to play chess. Thanks for the memories!
What a place to escape to.. We did not want our vacation to end.
Everything about this cabin was great. The pictures are perfect representations of what you get.
From arrival to departure we could not have asked for a better place to vacation.
Day 1 we opened the front door around 6 am and no more than 30 yards away was a doe nibbling on the grass. It only got better from there.
The back porch was such a great place to watch the sunrise (the name of this cabin is spot on, every sunrise was spectacular), the front porch was a great place to sit and read on the days the afternoon rains showed up.
The area has some great places to go, all just a comfortable drive away. Definitely check out Chimney Rock State Park and South Mountains State Park. We also enjoyed going into Forest City for some Scoops Ice Cream, really good ice cream and pet friendly!
The kitchen was stocked with enough pots and pans to cook meals, which we did most of the time. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. It is very secluded and out of the way.
We enjoyed going on walks every morning and evening in the "neighborhood" and saw an abundance of wildlife.
We will likely try and go back to the NC mountains again next summer and won't hesitate to use this same property management.
But it will be tough to top Sunrise Cabin.
Highly recommended!
House was great. It is located in the foothills not the mountains, so think tropical rain forest type weather in summer, not shaded mountains. That being said, the house is lovely. Great man cave with pool table, darts, bar, tv. Everything is at least 30 minutes away except Difiant Distillery ( go there). Linnville falls and Forest city- Ruthurfordton city are fun day trips.
