About the host
Hosted by Vincent Sassone
Steve and Vinnie have been vacation rental "Super Hosts" in Palm Springs and Santa Rosa since 2015. Their three previous properties were popular with guests and the reviews were glowing. They are excited to jump into the seasonal rental market with their new, Don Wexler designed Sagewood condo, Casa JetSet! They own a small v vineyard and winery in Monterey County, 12EC Vineyard & Winery and make award winning wine. . Steve is an architect who's been involved in many downtown Palm Springs projects and Vinnie is a filmmaker with two feature films, many shorts and building a college film program under his belt.
Why they chose this property
We love Palm Springs and have an appreciation for mid-century modern architecture. Our first mid-century was a Wexler/Harrison designed single family home in El Rancho Vista Estates that we renovated, loved living in and loved to share. Settling into another Wexler after a few years away from the desert making award winning wine in Monterey County, and having had an eye on Sagewood since we moved to palm Springs from New York in 2009, we knew this was going to be our next Palm Springs property - our new Casa JetSet!
What makes this property unique
Casa JetSet! is a 1970's built Donald Wexler designed condominium in his beautiful "Oasis for Living," Sagewood. Casa JetSet! is named for our beloved schipperke, JetSet!
