Great location. The only complaint is the fire alarm went off twice during our stay and the whole building was evacuated which was not fun early in the morning and after a long day of skiing. Otherwise the place was great and well located. Great communication with the owner. We had an awesome time! Thank you!
The building is well located and the view of the mountains was stunning. The unit is equipped with everything you need. The hvac system was a bit old school but it stayed on the warmer side. We just opened the windows as needed. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved everything about this place! It was close walk to the chair lift, we were right by everything in River Run Village, and it was extremely clean!
Amazing Unit, Great Location, Building Needs Updates
Pros: The unit was great. Nice updates. Good location. It was an easy walk to the gondola, shops, and pool. Had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, nice shower, with good hot water and pressure! The unit was quiet and no noise through the walls. I would stay again if I was certain the elevator was working(see below). Host was good to communicate with and gave us a small refund for the elevator inconvenience.Cons: 3 of 5 overall rating is due to the building. Buffalo lodge needs some updating. The elevator from the parking area was broken when we checked in and still broken five days later! I still can't believe it wasn't fixed before we left. Starting out a vacation like this was difficult to say the least. Their(SCMR) solution was for us to unload outside the front entrance but the ramp wasn't shoveled so we couldn't push the luggage cart in. No soap in the mens bathroom in the common area by ski lockers. Hot tubs were usually open but the one under the balcony looked dirty and foamy. We needed more trash bags and the Summit County Mountain Retreats told us we would need to go to there office to get them. Check in is late, 430, and it was barely ready at that time. The unit was clean overall, but some of the places like on top of the fridge could use a wipe down.
This was just what we were looking for. We ran in the Slacker Half Marathon from Loveland to Georgetown, and then enjoyed the Bacon and Bourbon festival literally right footsteps away in Keystone Village. The hot tubs were not available, but we enjoy going over next door a little more anyway with more room and the option of going from the pool to the hot tub, so not a big deal for us. We cooked our own “healthy” supper the night before our run and found the kitchen perfect to cook in. It had everything we needed, and more. Even made the short run up to Loveland Pass to catch the sunset on our last night. Would not hesitate for a second to stay in this exact same unit again. Very cozy and comfy.
Our small family of 3 had a lovely 4 night stay at your condo. Our son slept on the sofa, which he liked. He thought that the pull-out bed was less comfortable than the sofa cushions alone. The bedroom worked well for us, and the king sized bed was very comfortable.
We loved the decor, and what appears to be a recent, tasteful remodel. The kitchen was very well appointed, and filled all of our needs. We do cook a lot on these trips, but managed to get out to nearby Lime Restaurant which was great.
We have stayed in this building before, and the heat runs pretty high. We turned the thermostat down to the lowest setting which worked. We would recommend this to a smaller group, as it is relatively compact in size.
The condo was warm and cozy and great for a quick ski weekend. Location is perfect and just steps away from everything. Really liked that the condo was super clean and everything looked brand new. Owner was very responsive to our needs also. I give it a 9.5...nobody gets a 10 outta me!
