This timeless farmhouse is uniquely nestled by iteself on a .66 mile private driveway and is only 5 minutes from the charming Winterset town square. You will see deer in your yard, hear songbirds chattering every morning, and see the most magical sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy a walk down the wildflower lined driveway, then take a left at the road, and you will see the famous Holliwell Covered Bridge.

This home was fully renovated in 2023. The oversized kitchen (with fireplace) is a chef's dream, and you'll love the countryside views while cooking. End your night with a glass of wine by the firepit or on one of the decks.

The main level features an open floor plan with plenty of seating and dining options perfect for large families/groups. The primary bedroom and en suite and the laundry/mud room with 1/2 bath are also located on the main level.

Upstairs features 4 bedrooms with countryside views and a full bathroom. Dedicated AC and furnace upstairs as well.

Fully renovated farmhouse in beautiful Madison County

Tastefully remodeled with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Beautiful setting next to wooded areas and corn fields with plenty of wildlife to observe. Private and remote but close to nearby Winterset and only a 45 minute drive to Des Moines. Huge kitchen and dining area, great layout for a large group. We will be back!

Farm House Stay

Very nice house. Liked being in the country, but not very far from the things we wanted to do and see. It was nice watching the deer on the property. The host was very responsive when we contacted her. Would definitely recommend that property. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room.

Amazing

This house was gorgeous. There was more than enough room for all ten of us! The property manger was so kind and helpful. She let us check in early has we got stuck in the rain at the fairgrounds. We will continue to book this house every time we stay in Winterset.
