Cozy all season Balderson Cabin, 20 mins from Perth Ontario!

Now with wifi and smart tv!! Situated on the bank of Bennett Lake, just 20 min from Beautiful Perth, this cozy cabin offers 1 queen in the master and 1Q + 2F beds in the loft. Perfect for a family summer getaway or couples retreat. Also includes a fully functional kitchen and bathroom, with clean well water, wifi, bbq, and air conditioning. You can challenge your outdoorsy nature and chill on the dock to catch some fish or cozy up with some marshmallows by the outdoor fire pit.
You are provided a canoe and outdoor seating and games in the summer, sleds for the winter and firewood year round!
Now open winter season (excluding January and February unless special request).
Close to Perth Ontario in the heart of Lanark County. Perth area is known for its heritage buildings, boutique and antique shopping and maple syrup.

The water in front of the dock is ideal for fishing and gazing but swimming is recommended in the middle of the lake.
Boat launch available by appointment.
Fishing boat rental available at extra cost.
We are closed January and February except for special requests.

This was a very private area, felt like it was our own property. No visible neighbors, perfect seating areas covered from rain. Had an awesome campfire and great memories. This place is truly an outdoor cabin vs most others that are stacked row on row.

Probably the best cottage experience in my 65 years. The host has thought of everything and when you walk inside you can see how clean and organized it is. The seating is comfortable, the kitchen well organized and the washroom is bright and roomy. The porch is also very comfortable and during our only rainy day, we were dry and happy sitting outside sipping coffee! Our favorite activity was walking the manicured trails. My partner has health issues and exercise is a huge part of her well-being so having access to safe walking areas was essential. We only wish we were able to stay a bit longer!

A lovely getaway spot, very clean and well cared for. Everything we needed was right at hand.

We enjoyed our stay so much and were very sorry to leave. The owners were so responsive to texts. Very clean comfortable beds, nice towels and other necessities. Highly recommended.

Enchanting Log Cabin

It’s a beautiful enchanting private log cabin surrounded by nature. The cottage comes equipped with everything you need. The host is very friendly and very quick to respond. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful Stay in Balderson, Ontario

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much at the Balderson Cottage by the Lake. The cottage was clean and very spacious. The home had everything we needed for a rustic getaway. We felt like we were miles away from any inconveniences. We spent our days rotating between the quiet and secluded cottage, with plenty of things to do both inside and out, the lovely lake, the small city of Perth, and the offerings of Ottawa. The owner made us feel instantly welcome, and she was always available for minor problems or questions.

Tiffany was an excellent host, when called re tv she more than helpful, going above and beyond for a small issue.The place was spotless, with small welcoming gift which could be used at fire pit.Pet and family friendly it was, would go back. Great view of lake to sit by to unwind.
