Family 4th

We were wanting a quiet place to escape the loud pops and whistles the 4th of July brings. So we packed up our vet (dad) and pet (Fido) and headed for the hills. “Pristine” - the home really lives up to its name. All the amenities were there to make it feel like home, The hosts are responsive and extremely welcoming. A perfect place for family gatherings!

Jeff, grew up in WI, graduated college from Eckerd College in FL, spent time as a commercial fisherman on Cape Cod, MA, has launched and operated numerous businesses and currently operates an insurance agency and a waste management company in Summit County. Mariala was born in the Philippines, grew up in Saudi Arabia and went to boarding school in Switzerland. She graduated from college at CSU and spent 18 years as a professional and competitive chef. Together they are raising three kids (2, 3 and 8) in Summit County.

As owners and former full-time residents of the home you'll be vacationing at, we're intimately aware of ins and outs of the property and fully involved in the day-to-day needs required to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

North Star Village is the highest development in America with Chalet Elevation sitting at 11,360 ft. Our property is surrounded by wetland preserved land on all four sides. You'll be able to see some neighboring houses from the top of the driveway, but when inside or enjoying the hot tub or fire pit area you'll enjoy complete privacy, peace and quiet, and breathtaking mountain views.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this home for the kitchen first and then the towering wall of windows displaying the mountains during the day and the stars at night.
