Inside, brand-new appliances, comfortable furnishings, and high ceilings will beckon you in. Warm up by the heat of the gas fireplace in the living room while streaming your favorite shows. Whip up delicious dishes amongst the stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space in the full kitchen. Then dine as a family under the warm glow of the chandelier.

Relaxing get away

We met my in laws in Boone so they could see App State since my son is there… we wanted a cozy place to stay with them and give my son a break from dorm life.. perfect getaway.. close to Boone and downtown Banner Elk. Clean and comfortable… beautiful view of the mountains.

Perfect Mountain Weekend!

We loved our stay in this beautiful, comfortable condo and enjoyed the beautiful sunset views! The layout was perfect for our small family and we loved playing Scrabble on the dining area table. The gas fireplace was cozy although it did make the loft bedroom space a little toasty. We found that turning the fireplace off a bit before bedtime seemed to do the trick. We would definitely stay at Mountain Sunset Retreat again!

Worst Experience I've Ever Had

I am absolutely flabbergasted at the lack of service I have received from this company after the terrible experience we had on the night we checked in. The home had not been touched since the previous guests checked out. There were towels, dirty bedsheets, and trash throughout the condo. We arrived at 5:30 with three small children, and it was extremely cold outside while we were forced to wait for the cleaner to clean the entire home. I have never experienced this level of customer service before. I will never stay with Vacasa again and I will never recommend it. It's not okay for a company to ignore customers when they express a concern. I gave them ample opportunity to rectify this situation. No one would call us back that night, even after telling them we spent an hour and a half looking for a chirping smoke detector. This whole experience has been unbelievable. We had a huge dinner planned for the night we arrived. We were only able to start dinner after 7:30pm because that's when the cleaner was finished cleaning. And she didn't even have a vacuum! We did not have clean towels - she had to leave them in the dryer and they were still damp. After 1.5 months and multiple attempts to reach them, they responded tonight and said - sorry but the condo was eventually cleaned and we would've replaced the smoke detectors if necessary - but the smoke detectors were not replaced and no one even had the decency to call us back.
