Welcome to our retreat the Emerald Den! Escape the daily demands of life, among the trees and shoreline of beautiful Lewis Smith Lake. A location that provides all the modern comforts of home - open living space, full kitchen, washer/dryer, Wifi , with the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the serenity of lake life.
The Den provides plenty of room for families or friends to spread out. Lighted stairs lead down to a large floating dock with power, swim ladder and year round water, offers everything you need for a memorable getaway and unforgettable vacation.
You will be close to plenty of dining, shops, and activities just 15 minutes from the city of Cullman,. If you're looking to venture further, Huntsville and Birmingham are both about an hour away.
• Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 twin over full bunk and day bed), plus a cozy loft.
• Bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms, stocked w/ towels and essentials.
• Waterfront Paradise: Enjoy direct lake access w/ your private boat dock and swimming area.
• Outdoor Living: Sip your morning coffee on the spacious back porch w/ stunning lake views.
• Entertainment: The loft is perfect for family game nights, and a smart TV with streaming options is available.
• Kitchen: Fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances for all your cooking needs.
• Outdoor Activities: Cast a line and fish from the dock, swim in the clear waters, or explore the lake by boat. Smith lake park and boat launch 10 min away
• Location: Conveniently close to movie theaters, bowling alleys, shopping centers, putt putt ( in season) , water park ( in season), Starbucks, restaurants and 3 different groceries for your convenience 15 minutes away.

We are a New Orleans family that loves our city the Big Easy, but our lake house serves as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a place where we can disconnect from screens, deadlines, and stress and reconnect with nature and each other.
Why they chose this property
We decided to build the Emerald Den for our family and friends for a multitude of reasons, all rooted in our desire to create a space that would foster togetherness, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Our was to have a place where we could spend quality time with our family and closest friends. Life can get busy, and we wanted a sanctuary where we could escape the daily grind and strengthen our bonds. We are delighted to share this with you and hope you get the same joy we do visiting the Den!
What makes this property unique
We built this property from scratch, we were able to design the property to be an ideal setting for celebrating special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or just a weekend get away. It allows us to gather with loved ones in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere, and being able to share those same ideals with your family is our honor.
