"Place is great!! It's very classy with a vintage flare references to the 20's. All the things you wish were new feel new, clean and very well maintained. The architecture and interior design are inviting, warm and secure. You can tell a lot of care & time was taken with this charming house - selecting high quality finishes and decor that you'll probably want in your own place. The location is nice and quiet, tucked away in a nice neighborhood... walked to the square for great food and coffee."~Justin

Within a short walk to MTSU, farmers market May to November, dining, shopping, live music, bar, dancing, nature center, pool, tennis, basketball & pickle ball courts.

You will enter the home through the front patio. As you enter, there is spacious galley kitchen to the left fully stocked with everything you need for breakfast in, Keurig coffee maker with pods, cream and sugar, waffle maker (pancake mix and syrup), toaster and blender. Joining the kitchen to the right is a well lit dining area with a time period table and 6 well padded dining chairs.

"Carter's Speakeasy did not disappoint...they go above and beyond to create a beautiful, unique experience. Their attention to detail and the high quality furnishings always make me feel pampered."~Susan

You will then come to a spacious parlor with game/poker table for 6 complete with poker set, board games and puzzles, antique drink bar from the Peabody Hotel in Memphis (yes the one with the marching ducks), fireplace, couch and barrel chairs with ottomans. Enjoy a view of the park like courtyard from the parlor as you play games, lounge on the leather chesterfield sofa or velvet barrel chairs with ottomans or simply enjoy a drink from the bar (alcohol not included). Delight in some photo ops as you and your guests adorn the period style hats and headbands on display.

~Behind the kitchen you will find the Roaring 20's bedroom featuring a queen bed w/ dresser to make you feel right at home. Each bedroom includes fresh linens, lush velvet quilts and decorative pillows, smart tv, a closet with luggage rack and hangers.
~The Hollywood glam room located behind the parlor offers queen bunkbeds with velvet chaise lounge for a quiet retreat. The bathroom centrally located between the two rooms and boasts an oversized glass enclosed shower including toiletries, fresh linens, vanity with make up mirror with plush velvet stool.

The Parlor and Roaring 20's rooms both have ceiling fans, if you're a fan. Ring Camera at main door and camera at gate not facing the house

We enjoy this journey together amidst the curve balls and bits of chaos. We have six children and are fortunate that some help us with our AirBnb. We enjoy hosting and meeting new people, traveling and experiencing different countries and cultures. We are thrilled to be learning this new real estate and hospitality industry. Our hope is that our enthusiasm will show in our guests experiences.

Why they chose this property

The historic charm of the neighborhood and quaint town square stole our hearts. We enjoy walking to the square to enjoy a meal, listen to live music, shop or grab an ice cream cone.

What makes this property unique

We feel the historic properties and location of our carriage house definitely set it apart. It has been thoughtfully preserved and appointed to reflect a speakeasy during the roaring 20's.
